  1. Ours was £555 for 7 nights staying at Imperial Palace (for location more than anything). Wish I'd known sooner that it was going to be so much cheaper than I thought, always figured it'd cost thousands. Still managed to spend a canny bit on drink though as we didn't sit and gamble a great deal.
  2. My dad actually loves Tony Green. Wish I'd seen him play so I'd know what he'd been banging on about all these years.
  3. Going to a murder mystery thing in February with work actually, been wanting to do one for a while although don't really fancy hanging about with work all night.. might try for an extra victim depending on who's pissing me off around then.
  4. I don't even have a sweet tooth but that cheesecake looks amazing.

Snakehips: last seen 28th March Andrew: last seen 29th September MattM4: last seen 26th September Toonraider: last seen 18th June TheInspiration: last seen 3rd May Ally: last seen 24th April I reckon Andrew or MattM4 could be shackbleep. Who else has popped up recently but knows their Toontastic history? Even people like Jill or A nice hat...... I dont remember these people been called that 2 years ago? Jill=alreetlike. She's been around since primordial soup was on the menu, but hasnt posted here regularly for a good few years now. And everyone had called me Jill anyway since about the second week after I signed up.
  8. About 5ft7 I think, not saying my weight but lost a stone in the past few months and could do with shedding at least another.
  9. I was going to apply recently for the actual one but didn't have the right postcode. In fairness my menu would be grim as anything, probably a tin of Heinz soup, cheese & onion toasties and butterscotch Angel Delight or something. Basically if I were you I would do roughly what the Fish says about comfort zones. I'd hate going to other peoples' places and having 3 courses I'd make myself (fair enough one or at a big push two if done very well) so something a bit different would go down a treat for me. Enjoy, anyway, I've fancied doing that sort of thing for a while but need some other interested parties.
  10. I hate flying and have done for quite a few years, since an incident when I was a kid that probably wasn't very serious but scared me quite a bit. The last few years I've always been to get valium for flying, just the 2mg ones to take the edge off a little and as something to fall back on really. Just back from the US and flew Manchester to Philly then on to Vegas, and back the same way which was the furthest I've ever been. To be honest it wasn't as bad as I expected, out of 28 valium I only took 5 or 6 overall, but it was nice to know they were there. It's mainly the take-off and landing I hate and both were fine expect to my paranoid ears on the final flight I'm sure it took 3 attempts to get the landing gear down. Still not in any hurry to fly again anytime soon like, the worry leading up to it really stops me looking forward to a holiday.
  11. I know loads of people who have problems with signal etc, I never seem to though.

    Friday

I'm being expected to work really hard today, it's not on like. Thankfully my boss seems to have disappeared for the afternoon so things can get back to normal.
  13. Usually have dinner at my mam's then gran/auntie/cousin etc join us later to exchange gifts. It'll be slightly different this year as we're probably going to the mother-in-law's for dinner, but it's just round the corner from my mam's so I can easily pop in and see the family. I'm actually quite looking forward to doing something a little different.

Hear, hear. I was in such a bad mood yesterday before the match even started I hate Sunday games like. Spent the whole of yesterday waiting for it to be time to go to the match then came out afterwards knowing that in a few hours it'd be time to go to bed before work the next day. Rubbish.
  15. I'm impressed how he got back from prohibition era Chicago. Only caught up with this the other day. Don't think it's great, and that episode was very unpleasant. Will still watch the rest to see how it ends though.
  16. Really I was just bitter because I couldn't remember the URL for Toontastic.

Had a rotten week at work, planning on doing precisely nothing this afternoon and can't wait to relax tonight.
  18. played against accrington as well He's a winger I think. But has looked great at left back in the two games I've seen him this season. Aye, he's a winger who is being developed into a left back, apparently. Looked good last night but he's such a delicate little flower, I go all motherly every time he gets the ball in case he gets snapped.
  19. Stick to going to games once every 5 years, and issuing threats down the phone you west end bamp. Had a browse about there, also that Penny Crayon lass who posts on here slags our shit patter off Looks like Martin Jol's fucked off though so things could be looking up. Could we get 11 lads to play them at Coach Lane yes or no? You on about me, you cheeky fucker? There's good and shit on both boards tbh. The patter on here went through a period of being tedious as fuck, hence why I started using NO more.
