Nowhere so far, still paying for last year. Might try and get a weekend away or something later in the year.

I like a good cryptic crossword mind.

Historical.

I refuse to believe Gemmill means that. Must be a trap!

Drinks tonight with a few of the decent people from work, then probably a DVD. Gym tomorrow morning, then hopefully something else but I don't know what, then a quiet night with wine & pizza. Sunday.. no idea. Probably not much. 5pm can't come quick enough. I've worked dead hard today.

She's not going to the meetings anymore (a week later ) because she's spent her money on an iPhone, had a bacon sandwich for breakfast this morning and is now scoffing a Micro Pizza (blergh) and McCoy's steak crisps for lunch. My wife does slimming world, so I know that lass was talking utter shit. It seems much easier than the point system that weight watchers does, and is more about eating healthy stuff than counting every single calorie. Aye, I know a few others doing Slimming World and I can't say I've ever heard it described as above. She clearly has no concept of what she should be eating. Nevermind though, I've tried.

Even then though she could probably get away with that food if she was very active. I know lasses don't have football to play, but if she puts herself about in bed that's a good work out, or squash twice a week, gym 4 or 5 times, anyone can eat junk food and manage their weight as long as they exercise, I should know I've been doing it for years. Tell her to sort her life out. I've tried. She asked for some tips the other week and I offered some decent advice but she wasn't having any of it. She does no exercise as well and always has excuses why she can't start. I'd love to be able to play football regularly but given that I know no other lasses who have any desire to play it's a little tricky.

Same here. The service was abysmal as well.

Been in loads of times cos its convenient but no plans to again in the near future like, gets too full after the game though, was in there after the Liverpool game though cos that's where the lads were going for a change. Did you see me like? We usually stand at the back steps. Canny pint of Guinness it must be said. Not spotted you so far. I'm in there before most home games and sometimes after as it's a piece of piss to get served and the lads like the offers on bottles. Certainly get some characters in there mind.

I stayed at Imperial Palace which was nowt flashy at all but right on the Strip and you could be at a number of really nice hotels in minutes. Barely spent any time in the IP but it was perfect as a base.

Depends where you carry it. My brain is heavy as fuck.

Weigh 11st exactly today. I've been told I carry it well which I hope to fuck is true.

Saw Raffertys got a mention, anyone else get in there regularly on matchdays?

It's a Le Coq Sportif one from just after the WC I think. Probably a knock off knowing my dad though. I'm not particularly patriotic but it's England until they get knocked out, always had a soft sport for Argentina though, mainly because I like the shirt. Always had loads of football shirts when I was younger but just because I liked them. It's Skittles, btw. Looks weird though because I hate ice in drinks so there's none.

That's awesome that shirt man, retro. It was my dad's back when he had manlove for Mario Kempes.

I never did do it, but now an opportunity has come up to do the course locally rather than distance learning & an exam in London. I've not even been wine tasting in ages but I do miss it so I'm quite tempted.

I feel like I've hit something of a wall in terms of weight loss. I suppose that's good as you're not supposed to lose it too quickly but I think I'm building quite a bit of muscle and don't want to turn into one of those rank bodybuilder type lasses. I'm still reasonably heavy like.

Sounds like the sort of thing I'd like if you wouldn't mind sticking up the recipe. Sure: Ingredients 1 x 300g Jar Tuna in olive Oil (I used 2 x 150g tins of tuna in water) 1 x 400g tin chipped tomato 1 small red onion 1 medium fresh chilli 1 small bunhc fresh basil ground cinnamon 200g rigatoni 1 lemon 50g parmesan cheese (not called parmesan in Asda! they have another brand but same thing) Olive oil Sea Salt Black Pepper Method Preheat Overn and stick plates in to warm (I set 50'C) + Stick kettle on to biol Peal and finely slice onion, halvem deseed and finely slice chilli Place large pan on medium heat Pick basil leaves and put to one side then finely chop the stalks Add splash of olive oil to hot pan, add onion, chilli, basil stalks and 1/2 level tea spoon on ground cinnamon Cook rigatoni in boiling salted water, stir now and again to stop sticking Once onions are soft, add the tuna (drained) to the pan and the tinned tomatoes Turn up heat and stir with wooden spoon season with salt and pepper Simmer for a few mins to let the sauce thicken When pasta ready scoop out half a cup of its water then drain the rest Tip pasta into the pan and stir together If its too thick, use some of the drained water to thin slightly Add pinch of salt and pepper then grate in some lemon zest (I grated in about 1/4 of the lemon) and squeeze in a little juice Add the basil leaves and finely grate in 25g of parmesan Stir and cover to keep warm Give it 5 mins (set table etc) Take out warmed plates and serve. Grate on extra parmesan to the top. Bon appetit! Cheers, sounds right up my street.

Working out is like a drug when you get into it. Definitely. I try to have the occasional rest day but I just end up feeling like a lazy sod.
