Banana for me as well. Absolutely starving but going to Lumley Castle tonight and the meal's not until 8.

Bottle of sparking wine down and about to open a can of Strongbow. Tbf though I seem to have better results on the scales when I've had a day or two off at the weekend.

Tiote's definitely, one of my favourite goals ever.

Used to be really good at it at school and I can still read/understand some written German but panic at the thought of having to speak it as I can never seem to form a sentence. Matty will testify to this as I could only think of about 3 words when I met his German mate and totally bottled it.

I'm sitting in a pretty respectable place at the moment. I remember when I had the most posts on here years ago.

What did you study/are you studying at College/University?
Jill replied to WordPlay's topic in General Chat
Did A-Levels in Psychology, Maths and Biology but never got round to going to Uni as I wasn't really sure what to study. I've since done 2 years of law but jacked that in because it's shite. -
Had a nice Thai red curry for tea tonight, first time I've had one in ages.

Lost another pound. It seems slow going at the moment but I have been on for 6 months so not too concerned. 38lbs lost in total, aiming for around another 10lbs but more concerned about fitness now.

Just remembered Aaron Hughes' missus went to my school. She was friends with my sister.

I can so see that.

I remember that! "Little Miss Perfect". Him indoors quite likes it. Nuff said. That's the one, aye. I saw her in the pub once and she didn't wash her hands after going to the toilet. Perfect my arse! Well that is the point she makes if you'd bother to listen to the lyrics. Still having a wee giggle at the idea of Bobby Thompson going to school in Gosforth. Almost edited my post after going through the song in my head. It saddens me that I know some of the lyrics.

Perfect my arse! how could you know that though Jill? Were her hands dripping with piss or did you snif fher fingers? She came out of the cubicle and left the toilets without visiting the sink. Not sure why you'd jump to those conclusions but each to their own.

A lass who's been in a few things (Byker Grove, The Bill, the most recent episode of Casualty) called Holly Matthews. She also released a really bad single at one point. Nee one else that I can think of. My friend's dad was a school friend of Beardsley but that's slightly tenuous for me.

Fad diets are a massive load of shit. I'm sure they work in the short term if you suddenly need to drop 10lbs in 2 weeks but if you're looking to keep it up, a thousand times no. I know people who've tried every fad under the sun and none of them have ever lost a significant amount and maintained it. Those who have managed this have eaten a healthy balanced diet and done more exercise. Unfortunately some people want an instant solution, much like when I wanted to be able to play guitar but couldn't be bothered to practice.

I agree, my diet doesn't, so I went for boring old half fat sausages.

Aye she's a right radge. I'd be shitting the weight out if I had to come up against her.

Started watching the US one the last few weeks, definitely much better. The UK one is turning into a bit of a farce with the whole 'apples and nuts' scandal.
-
Can't say I was thrilled with it. Tasted alreet though.

Cocktails in Wetherspoons. Had the misfortune of tasting one once and it was dreadful. Though not quite as desperate as the "mojito" my mate got in the Goose.

I'm in a class mood, having a much needed weekend off the drink and looking forward to a quiet night catching up on various Masterchefs. Might even push the boat out and watch a film later.

Making sausage casserole tonight. No doubt I'll chuck a few extra ingredients in. I love a casserole, it's about the only thing I can make that doesn't involve sticking to a recipe.

I nearly saw a lad do that the other day. He was running and watching the TV at the same time and getting further and further back on the treadmill. He realised in the end and sorted it but the evil part of me was willing it to happen.
