  1. She told them to eat just apples or something didn't she? Shame she felt she had to kill herself, but she'd been battling all sorts of problems so it seems it all became too much. I don't mind that new woman trainer but the SAS bloke is fucking evil. The first bloke kicked out posted on Digital Spy, reckons there was loads of editing to make him look a lot worse although we could've all guessed that.
  2. She'll be sitting there seeing your number come up on the screen thinking "oh god not this loon again". (Voice of experience) or "oooo these guys have done everything right, how can I get more £ out of them" FWIW We managed to get hold of the lesbian whore and were all sorted now. Their communication is fucking dog dirt and we shall be saying that in a letter after completion. Was just messing, but there's nowt more annoying than clients who constantly want updates. She does sound a bit shit though, good luck. Were not constantly wanting updates, thats the annoying thing. When we have got to certain stages in the process we have called them to update them. When we have wanted information from them they are either out of the office or busy, which is fair enough, however if we ask fro a call back or an email for an update, we expect it, not for us to chase them. If I did what solicitors did in my industry I would be out of work tbh. They're not all like that man. You've just picked a rotten one.

  5. 2lbs on over Christmas - amazed it's not loads more. I'm pleased to get my head back in the game though, totally sickened myself of crappy food and drink so haven't had too much trouble getting back into the swing of things. Plus Biggest Loser is back on which is always a nice bonus.
  6. In our previous flat a few years ago, our upstairs neighbour was a nightmare. It was a bloke in about his 50s, don't think he worked and would have friends round at like 2-3am and play music. If we knocked to complain they'd jump up and down so our ceiling would shake. Got the police round once who managed to shut them up. Through the day he'd be nice and apologetic and promise to move his speakers/turn the volume down so it wouldn't be a problem but then sure enough a few days later it would start up again. Thankfully our tenancy was just about up and we were looking to move anyway so it didn't go any further than that. Just got some new neighbours who've moved in below us as well who have a habit of playing their music/TV loudly but hoping to have a quiet word when passing in case they just haven't realised how much other people can hear - if we'd not had so many problems previously I wouldn't be anywhere near as conscious of keeping the volume low as I am now. I don't mind so much when they play decent music but in the early hours one day before Christmas someone found a Christmas album and I was seething. Hope you can get it sorted, it's awful feeling so annoyed and frustrated in your own home.
  7. My headphones are the first casualty of 2012, good thing I've got Christmas money to spend.
  8. I've had some wine & cider. I was going to stick a film on but I fired up iTunes a few hours back and had it on shuffle ever since, been ages since I spent a few hours listening to music of solely my choice. Edit! Where are my manners? Happy new year, all.

    Mine's mental, but class.
  10. Bought this the other day, interesting read. I love local history.
  11. Good health for family & friends Magically become rich without having to do any extra work Drink less alcohol Improve my fitness
  12. Staying in, probably on my own. Loser-tastic, I hate new year though and I'm out NYD so would rather have a quiet one with a few DVDs and a glass or two of wine.
  13. The gym is nice and quiet this week and I imagine it will be next week too. Going to work out as much as possible before it's heaving in January. I'll be eating like an absolutely massive greedy cow though of course.
  14. In year 6 we did Jack & the Beanstalk. I was some random insurance collector. Boring old angel in the nativity, but the following year I was picked to narrate it because I was really good at reading. Obviously hadn't considered the fact that I'd be shocking at public speaking.
  15. Uno's, not been in there for years.
  16. We've put our tree up at work today. It's not great but I've cheered myself up by making an angel for the top out of a picture of my team leader in the 80s with a Keegan style perm. She's not in today but hopefully she'll be livid when she sees it.
  17. Never bother with any, I'm a total Scrooge.
  18. Not having one for the full firm but my team are going to Lumley Castle for some Casino Night thing. Been paid for for months and I've enough set aside for some drinks on the night so should be ok hopefully.
  19. There's always one in each of the teams at my work, I always opt out though because I hate shopping for my family enough without having to shell out for some random I barely know. Only did it one year (the first year I was there) and got some right weirdo, thankfully that year everyone had to write down stuff they'd like and she put chocolate so it was fairly easy.
  20. Devastated by this. Incidentally, someone slagging off Speed was what prompted me to sign up to Toontastic all those years ago.
  21. My dad got escorted from the airport and not allowed to fly for refusing to take his shoes off the other month. It was apparently because of his bad back (couldn't reach down to take them off) but it escalated into a massive rant and created a huge scene.
  22. Cracking mood - had a week off work and it's been nice just not really doing much. Been over to see my mam, gran & dad today (separately) and in particular I'm pleased my gran has settled into her new place as she's just moved into sheltered accommodation at the age of 88 after being in her previous flat for about 30 years.
