I can definitely feel another away trip coming on. Really need to NOT get my hopes up before the actual draw though.

Made one of those bampy "in from the pub, what's in the cupboards?" sort of meals before and ended up with a tuna madras with wholegrain rice. Pleasantly surprised, for something that just involved stirring a few things together.

2 hours from town to Killingworth, though around the first half hour was spent waiting for a bus that had no intention of ever turning up. Stupid to have waited around in hindsight rather than just setting off any way possible. After getting on a metro and walking part of the way I managed to score for a lift from a colleague. Most traumatic part was having to bring the bins in when I got home, and a cat trying to run into my house.

Could talk all day about how awful suicide is, but I'd rather just say.. get help, if you're in need.
-
I was wondering if all that shite was normal.
-
Awful story. Hate hearing about suicides after my (de facto*) stepsister killed herself almost a year ago. So fucking devastating for those all around, and of course even more so if it involves taking another life too. *came to mind, don't know if it's the best phrase to use

Joined together paperclips Possibly the largest influence on my blood pressure

I can see how that would swiftly go wrong. I need to have the bottle as far away as possible, i.e. in the fridge, and plenty of distractions like a good TV show or film, so I sip and only top up when I really need to. Being out anywhere and drinking wine just never ends well.
-
Please tell me it'll be better than that Flintoff rubbish I was forced to watch last night.
-
Wine is lovely, but I can't drink it when I'm out (unless it's sharing a bottle with a meal and very little else). Gets too messy and results in a rotten hangover. It's definitely a drink for me to have at home these days.

Ngakuta Bay Sauvignon Blanc. Not particularly exciting, but it'll do. I miss my wine tasting days though, feel like a bit of a scummer browsing the cheapo section in Morrisons.

I'd forgotten about that. Can't blame you for not living up to your name, I certainly didn't look alreet like.

Been following your blog on twitter, good read and I'm so impressed with how well you're coping. Keep it up.

I've no idea if he's any good, but this is my cousin's place: http://www.abodelettingagency.co.uk

A house at the end of our street has this huge bush in their garden that already takes up half the pavement, and now they've hoyed a load of lights round it. Cheerful bastards.

Great mood, had a productive start to the day now i have a clear conscience to settle down and catch up with all my TV for the week.

What of, the food I've been eating? Can be arranged.

Diet has gone to shit lately, I'm far too tempted by treats at the minute.

Badminton's class, not played in ages though.

I can't say I disagree, really, other than the shagging bit. I still like it though. Must be my angsty tendencies.

Good shout, and I love Dawson's Creek btw.

I don't see the huge fuss. I've read the books, they're a canny read but I'm not really fussy when it comes to books, as long as it has a story I can follow easily. The films are okay too. I downloaded the first few and only saw last year's at the cinema as I had a week off work and nothing better to do. I went on my own which felt incredibly tragic, but all my mates were at work and I wouldn't dream of taking wor lad. I'll see the last one just to complete the set and compare to the book, but I'll probably wait for a download unless any of the lasses are going. Can't say I find the vampire bloke at all attractive, he's got a right staring problem. And she's miserable as fuck!

I wouldn't have been so harsh if I'd seen you. 2:14 for me, I was on target for somewhere under 2:10 on the halfway point but went to absolute shit on 11 miles (I must've improved a little, because last year it was 10 miles).. that's what I get for doing almost no longer distance training, I suppose. I've never used the baggage buses as I've always just had wor lad waiting at the other end with my stuff, but the organisation has always been spot on from what I've seen.

It's a weird hobby but I find serial killers absolutely fascinating, love reading about them or watching documentaries.
