I must know your logic here.

Both years I've done it I've been fine (actually 2012 a little quicker than anticipated) until 10-11 miles when I became absolutely knackered. Clearly my own fault as I'd only run up to 10 miles the first year and 11 the second. This year I'll need to do a bit more longer distance training. I wasn't arsed the first year as I just wanted to get round but while I was happy to have a bit off my time the following year it could've been even more if I was better prepared.

I've watched The Booth at the End series 1 & 2 recently. Canny, it was recommended to me by someone who knows I like Twin Peaks and I can see why.
-
That's about my pace too. I've never been very good at running any sort of distance, the pace I run is pretty comfortable so I could possibly go a bit quicker but always think I'll misjudge it and end up knackered later on. Not that I've done any running since the Great North Run like, but if I get in again this year I'll gradually build up my distances again.

Vic Reeves - Me: Moir Not great, but just needed something to skim through on the bus.

Toaster to replace our one that died.

If you get in quick they're having a transformation challenge in the Diet & Exercise section of RTG. I had to reduce some of my weights today, just could not grind out the reps with what I was on before Christmas. Frustrating, but plenty of time to build back up.

Excellent mood. Feeling great after being a lot healthier lately, having an alcohol free weekend and a good gym session this morning. Off round to see my auntie's new house this afternoon and catch up with mam, gran and sister as well.

I thought a few places were quite expensive but we only really hung out around the main square and touristy bits. Apparently it's not so bad if you wander off elsewhere. Difficult to say as we didn't do a lot other than drink beer out of plastic cups for several days, and a few places had cheaper offers on for that.

Bruges is beautiful, I'd definitely go back for non-football reasons. Especially now I've discovered I like fruit beer.

I wish I'd not let it ruin my day, but I do every time.

Stay strong, Parky.

Doing cheese on toast for dinner today. I don't often buy cheese but my mam got me some for Christmas and I feel I should at least make a basic meal out of it instead of just hacking it into chunks and grazing on it over the course of the day.

He donated me a tin of Jupiler in Bruges for the walk to the stadium shortly after introducing me to his mates as "Jill from the internet".

Cath he's fine - back living in Newcastle these days, for a year or two now. Still getting to matches but not all the time due to work, general apathy, etc. We were going to catch up the other day but he wasn't well so had to cancel, should do soon though.
-
Probably. I've been known to reign him in a few times. Good mate though.

I still keep in contact with Kirkey regularly. He's not changed much.

My strength is completely gone. All my usual weights were a fucking nightmare today, must've looked a right spacker.

Nothing planned yet, would love a weekend away in the coming months at least, followed by maybe a week somewhere later in the year. I'm trying to be realistic about it though and really need to get my finances sorted first.

I only went once over Christmas and was back yesterday for my first cardio session since the festivities. It was canny tough, but felt good to get back into a routine. I'll be there tonight as well and possibly tomorrow morning. There already seem to be plenty new starters but I expect next week will be worse. I guess that's what I get for going to a dirt cheap city centre gym. Need to trim down some body fat, been rubbish with my diet the last few months so got a bit of flab around the waist which needs to go.
-
True! I need the routine anyway really, I'm a right mess with nothing to do with my days. At least I have a fresh holiday chart to start filling.

Back at work, sooooo depressed about it.
-
Me neither. It was a good final but shame Taylor had to win, he's so irritating.

Only spent a tenner this year. A 10 pack of Strongbow and a couple of bottles of Savanna, walked there and back. Think I spent more on junk food etc last year when I just stopped in.

Not feeling too bad hangover wise, but thoroughly depressed at the thought of going back to graft tomorrow.
