  1. I've been the same weight, give or take a few ounces, for 7 weeks now. Hoping I've finally got the hang of maintaining a weight with a good mix of eating right/training. Wouldn't even mind gaining a few pounds, but would rather it was muscle over fat and I don't think that's likely without focusing a bit more on what I'm eating.
  2. I had a dream that I developed a nipple on each of my bum cheeks. Then my sister went shopping in the sales and brought me back some NUFC football socks but they had Didier Domi's name and face on them for some reason.
  3. If Morrisons don't stop selling bottles of Savanna for £1 I may become an alcoholic.. lovely little drink.
  4. Well done. I've had a CT-diet sort of week. Thursday - cider all night & a takeaway pizza after the match. Friday - went to the gym but then ate half a large tub of frozen yoghurt. Saturday - gym again but then a big curry, few slices of garlic bread, bottle of wine and several ciders. Sunday - ciders all day for the match on just a Greggs sarnie. Monday - the rest of the frozen yoghurt and a Chinese takeaway, barely moved all day. Tuesday - walked a few miles but for a 3 course Italian meal. Wednesday - normal day in terms of food and gym. I've ended up at my lightest since I started recording my weight with ½lb off since last week. Proof that scale weight isn't all it's cracked up to be though, I can feel additional fat wobbling around my middle. Head back in the game this week...

I'd make an awful chef because* I don't buy salt or add it to anything. Ever. *well tbf I can think of numerous other reasons
  6. Anyone else get sleep paralysis regularly? I've had it quite a few times, it was extremely unpleasant at first but now I know that it'll pass and just to try and concentrate on wiggling a finger or toe until I get movement back properly. It's the echoey sounds I get at the same time that are the worst bit, always seems to be along the lines of hearing loud footsteps in the house but being unable to turn over and see if there's anyone there.
  7. I tried the new Sambuca in Forest Hall yesterday lunchtime. I've never been to any of their other restaurants but I knew what sort of thing to expect. It was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday afternoon. Food was decent, hot and I know it's all a bit bampy but personally I can't really complain when you've paid less than a tenner for 3 courses and 2 drinks. We'd finished all the food within 45 minutes of arrival and I thought they may have wanted us out but it had quietened down a bit so we stayed for another drink. One of those that falls into the "it is what it is" sort of category for me. The staff could do with better organisation mind (5 separate people asked if we wanted drinks - very polite but I think once is sufficient when we'd just got sat down!) Would go back just for somewhere local to meet and catch up with friends etc, not for a special occasion or over a weekend.
  8. Tempted, but I haven't found anything suitable yet.
  9. Found an old diary from when I was 17. CRINGE!!!

Quorn madras tonight, with a mushroom pilau.
  11. Lanzarote is nice, we did loads of Canaries holidays when I was growing up and that was my favourite by far.
  12. Aye, occasionally. Usually when I've overdone it on the caffeine that day, but it happens randomly at times as well.
  13. Just do whatever feels comfortable and works for you. I've heard countless arguments for all variations. Personally I prefer: Banana at around 4pm Gym at 5pm Tea whenever I get home & cook it - around 7.30pm Or on a weekend: Breakfast about 7.30am Gym at 9-9.30am Fruit/cereal bar at around 11am when I finish Then home for normal meals the rest of the day Mostly just to fit in with routine rather than any science.
  14. I had one of those rank ones last night where your teeth all keep falling out. No doubt means I'm anxious or worried or some other shite.
  15. I haven't. Wouldn't even consider it after a friend told me about her experience, which involved immediately running to the toilet and explosively shitting out what she described as "a heinous smelling combination of tuna and peppers", which she hadn't eaten at any point leading up to the colonic.
  16. I've just been trying whatever is a reasonable price in Morrisons () but a few of the Thatchers ones have been really nice. Had the Gold one last week and enjoyed that. I love trying different ciders but prefer to do it in the house because hoying a 7.5% one down my neck on a night out is only going to end in tears and/or vomit.
  17. Various ciders. I'm enjoying trying different ones lately.
  18. Thanks for the tips. I don't think I've been turning my toes out a little so I'll try that next time. I've been trying to go as low as possible as well. I'm determined to get my form right though it is frustrating using what seems like ridiculously light weights. Can't bear seeing others using terrible form though so I'd hate to fall into the same trap myself just for the sake of upping the weight.
  19. My squat fucking sucks, I'm using low weights to try and get my form right but my knees have a tendency to wobble all over the shop (they do on leg press too) and I just find the movement so WEIRD to get used to. I'm going to stick at it because I can feel how beneficial it is, but I just feel bloody hopeless at it so far. Shoulder press has been my nemesis for as long as I can remember, I've tried doing slow negatives etc and taken other advice on board but just can't seem to increase the weight on either a machine or with free weights.
  20. Wasn't sure at first, but it grew on me quite quickly. I thought it would become annoying with him just strolling in and cracking it all straight away, but they've built it up nicely. He plays the role really well.
