  1. These for me. Although I almost never eat biscuits. I probably have one a month, if that.
  2. Didn't mind the first episode of the new series, I'm just going to watch at UK pace this time since we're only a week behind.
  3. Canny mood. Got a week off work and managed to get pretty much up to date by the time I left yesterday. Off to a bbq at my stepsister's today, drinks in Durham tomorrow with my sister then a week of doing various jobs around the house and generally enjoying not being at work.
  4. Don't bother with season 1, I really struggled through it and took ages to bother watching them all after the first couple. Leslie Knope was basically a female Michael Scott as well which I wasn't keen on. We've made alternative arrangements for watching the rest, can't believe the BBC don't seem to be continuing with it as I know several people who've got into it during this run.
  5. I really liked Twin Peaks after expecting to find it absolutely shit. I was hoping for Spurs to do it in 6, but the way this series has gone I can't say I'm disappointed about a 7th. I'm bang into Parks & Recreation at the minute, about 5 or 6 episodes into season 3. I'm pleased I sat through the poor 1st series because it was worth it to see it pick right up in the second.
  6. If I ever find myself a bit better off I'm definitely getting a cleaner. Can't really justify it at the moment, but one day!! Currently I do as much housework as possible on Friday nights which is extremely tragic but I hate spending weekends cleaning etc.
  7. I didn't want to interrupt your conversation. Soft shite.
  8. Fairly certain my dad was desperate for me to be a boy. I've no idea if that's why I ended up a total tomboy or not, but somehow my older sister got away with not liking football at all and I'm stuck for life.

    Gigs 2013

Neil Young & Crazy Horse at the Arena last night. I thought it was good and I was pleased I've had the chance to see him live, but some of those extended outros, fuck me. I think I skipped about 3 birthdays during Fuckin' Up. Loads of moaning sods in the crowd as well who obviously weren't happy at the setlist.
  10. I thought it was fantastic. From where we were standing there were no problems with the sound, as I saw others had commented on afterwards, and Brown's vocals have always been piss poor so I turn up fully expecting that. I enjoyed it more than Heaton Park last year, though that was partly due to the nicer weather for being out all day.
  11. Felt like I was at a football match for a moment.
  12. Not an imaginary friend, but I did make up a friend once as a persuasive device when my parents wouldn't let me have something. She was called Palima (nope, I don't know either, and her sister was called Arma) and she was always allowed to do/have whatever request I'd had turned down. It actually had some minor success but the game was up when she was given a pet tortoise about 2 days after my mam had vetoed that suggestion.
  13. Aye it's a fucking disgrace. I wasn't going to go originally but we couldn't sell both of the tickets so I thought I'd rather go than have wor lad wandering around London on his own. A few days after I agreed to it the support acts were announced, bastards.

    Gigs 2013

After not going to any gigs for absolutely ages I've got a few in a short space of time. Rush the other night in Sheffield (fantastic), Stone Roses in London next Friday then Neil Young the following Monday at the Arena. Strange mix, but in a good way I hope.
  15. I'm off to this as well now. Well not now obviously, but in a week.
  16. I must have a gigantic character tonight then. I've found myself watching greyhound racing on the telly and even placed a bet or two ffs.
  17. Tempting but it's allegedly going to be 18 degrees and sunny here tomorrow, so I'll probably just shop then instead.
  18. There isn't a bus that goes from my front door to the supermarket. I could get one, but it'd only be for two stops. I always do my shopping on foot, I just can't be arsed when it's lashing down.
  19. Aye, thanks for that. I'm going to spy on the neighbours and demand a lift if they're going out anywhere in the car. Then hitchhike back. Failsafe.
  20. Looks like I'm staying in today. Anyone want to give me a lift to the shop so I can buy some food?
  21. Ugh, I'm with you on that. When the sashes, L plates and stupid headgear comes out I'm ready to nip off to the nearest 'old man' type pub and have a few pints and a go on the itbox.
  22. It's not like you can attempt the casual "oh I was just out for a jog" past the stop as the bus pulls away, either.
  23. Punching horses, ffs. Actually managed to have a decent day out if I completely ignored the football.
