Me too. Was at the Academy for both Teenage Fanclub and The Doves recently - more impressed with the smaller room upstairs where Fanclub played than with the larger room. It's far too expensive for a drink (as expected) and the drinks are crap anyway. Off to see Take That next year as well.

I found it funny in places, as I usually do with horror films. That girl playing the lass who was possessed had a cushty job, most of her lines were just "aaaaaaaaaarrrghgghhhhhh" together with strange facial expressions..

Watched that Emily Rose thing last night, didn't rate it. I was getting bored towards the middle/end.. and it certainly wasn't scary. Decent concept though, I just expected to find it more interesting than I did.

I was even more impressed with him than I was with most! As usual some of the fellas around me were giving stick but I thought he put in a great performance and battled well.

I watched this the other day - how fucking ridiculous was it?! I thought the storyline sounded promising but it was completely retarded. The Descent is indeed shit as well. Thankfully I didn't pay to see either of them (god bless snide DVDs..)

I like the Kaiser Chiefs album as well; in fact it's one of the only albums I like out of all these new bands that all sound exactly the same to me. Starting to get a bit sick of the singles though as, in true Killers style, they're being overplayed. I am *still* listening to the new Dream Theater album. Reeeeally like it.

Lots of stuff by The Doves.. going to see them this weekend.

I could never do an F or a G7 .. I can now but I try never to play those if I can help it, out of sheer hatred. It's not too difficult but it does take a fair bit of practice/dedication if you don't have the natural ability (which I don't, and my dedication is usually lacking..) Worth having a go though.
