I think I'm at least 3lbs up since 18 December. Had my first weights session since 17 Dec earlier today and thought I was going to have a massive whitey. Hopefully it'll not be so horrendous next time. Will go to the gym again or for a run tomorrow then back into the swing of things on Monday to get the extra weight shed. Got a rotten layer of flab around my midriff which I must get rid of. Just entered the Great North Run ballot as well.

I can't think of a time in the last fortnight where I haven't been full. Out for a family meal today but after that I'm back to eating normal food and exercising.

Now I find Jay even more hinky.

Our original plan of going round someone else's house is back on so same thing - couple of drinks and some good company - but without having to host.
-
Few friends round - couple of drinks early on in the local pubs then back to ours. Thought we might as well volunteer to host as the place is still reasonably tidy from our pre-Christmas clean.

And the bellends were ringing out for Christmas Day.

I'm anticipating our standard Boxing Day defeat, and quite a heavy one at that.

Happy Boxing Day, everyone. I'm over the moon that the dinner I put together was well received and had a lovely family day. My presents are all decent too, happy days.
-
Presents wrapped and delivered, house cleaned and tidied (hopefully to a level which will meet with the mother in law's approval although I'm bound to have missed a bit) and I've had my token neb at the ISS to pretend it's Santa. Quick bite to eat then I think I shall visit the inn.

We're closing at half 12 but I had everything finished off by 11 so it's been a long hour and a bit. I'm now totally paranoid I'll come down with a sickness bug as one of the friends I was out with last night left early as she was in the early stages of it.

He won the BBC New Comedy Award the other day.

2.5 working days left for me before Christmas. Unfortunately the .5 is Christmas Eve so it's not much to celebrate.

Our team night out is the 4 of us lasses going for a curry and a few beers. First one I've bothered going to in years since when the team was bigger they always used to book one of those shite party nights at a hotel.

You're right about Italian places mind, we had pizza twice one of the days we were there (due to forgetting to eat later on until we were passing the last takeaway before the hotel) then the next day all we could fucking see were more Italian places. Ended up in an Irish bar for lunch just because it was the first other type of cuisine we saw.

I can feel indigestion starting just reading the recipe.

What stupid Xmas presents does 'the other half' get you?
Jill replied to Park Life's topic in General Chat
Haven't bought each other Christmas presents for years. He's one of those awkward December birthdays anyway so he still gets presents. -
I was in the waiting room at the doctors the other week and a lady started breastfeeding. No one was remotely bothered apart from the one lecherous old man who looked like he was about to explode out of his neck brace. This.

Agree on both.

I only know one and he was already a twat long before he started the job.

Bloody hell you weren't wrong. That's a biting wind they have out there, isn't it? The match was the coldest I've ever been in my life. Genuinely wondered if I'd ever get the feeling back in my fingers.

Just seen the tickets and we're in block 18 but the research I did suggested blocks K-O so fuck knows. I'd say I've packed scarves, gloves and hats but that'd be very dishonest as so far I've packed naff all.

Man up and get in with the ultras! That said, we're going this weekend for the Bayern Munich game and apparently we're in some neutral block. Last time I went we were in block 36.1 and this was the view, with a spot on atmosphere too: They've got one of those 3D things on the website for checking the view from each area.

Berlin for me as well, next Friday. Going to Hertha v Bayern. Don't worry, I still have the Berlin Bible.
