Hmm.. today has been worryingly fine.. high spirits all round, just a nice level of busy and nothing has gone wrong yet on the new procedure which I've brought in. Plus no college this week so I can do 9-5 rather than something like 8-6.

I quite like my job.. it's just not a pleasant thought to think that I have to go back to *earning* money rather than just sitting around watching the telly and getting paid for it.

Good result. Impressed with the young lads. Our goals today were cracking as well.

I'm not looking forward to going back to work.. I'm having flashbacks to the afternoon of Friday 22nd when I shoved a load of files in a drawer, saying I'd "worry about them next year". It's come around far too quickly for my liking.

Can't complain too much so far, I expected worse... Milner's goal was nice.

Me too. I am feeling very soopafan-like today so I haven't gone to the game. Which probably means it'll turn out to be one of the best of the season.

I don't think I've ever used a Gmail invite. Though tbf I only use it for signing up to thinks I know will generate spam.

What you done to bring the eviction on? We've not been getting on for a while. I was intending to move out in 2007 anyway but looks like I'll have to speed myself up as we're having the same argument every day and we're both piss sick of it. So now just got to find the cheapest shithole possible.

Had a lie in then went into town for an hour or so (nightmare, I hate sales) and off out for a drink later to drown my sorrows as my mam has just told me I have to move out asap. Could've been worse like as I almost had to go into work today.

I'm making microwave lasagne... Yum.

I don't normally bother going out on NYE but a couple of mates who I haven't seen in a while are going to Bulletproof so I'm getting dragged along too. Hopefully we're just having a skinful in the house before heading out as it'll be stupidly packed.

I don't normally watch it but I saw that, it was absolutely hilarious.

My family did surprisingly well this year. My months (and months) of saying how much I HATE shitty little presents only given for the sake of it must've paid off and I got pretty much what I asked for, which was (specific) clothes and shoes, and money/vouchers to spend myself. Mind in the past I've had some monstrosities. Hideous items of clothing (which went to the charity shop with the tags still on), earrings which were going green on the fucking bit of card never mind in my ear (binned), a ridiculous number of "gadgets" (probably binned or given to someone about 6 years younger than me who would appreciate them) and god knows what else.

Welcome A couple of my friends are midwives and have been delivering Christmas babies.. respect to everyone else in a hospital though. I rang labour ward earlier as I'm the anaesthetic bod on for emergency caesarians tonight and they have not a single woman in the department. They only had one on Christmas day aswell I think. Very unusual as the place is normal heaving with charva children having children... Boo, my local girly will be disappointed - she was in one of the local hospitals though not sure which one, another one was down in the midlands somewhere. Tbf would rather it was a rather it was a quiet one all round than any problems.
