I've completely wasted today pissing about online, watching things I've Sky plus-ed during the week and eating.. pretty much an average Sunday, but devastating to think I've got work tomorrow.

3 estate agents have hung up on me this morning. Friday is flying by like. Happy days. What kind of low self-esteem job must you have for estate agents to hang up on you? I hate estate agents. I work at a solicitors doing repossession sales and they have to go through the asset manager. They hate being told that, especially on a Friday.

Yay. Fingers crossed for a massive skive today.. though Fridays are usually busy.

Mine has turned itself into the worst Monday ever. My mam's had to go into hospital and our water tank has a hole in it which I can't get fixed until the weekend.. grrrrr...

It's totally embarrassing. I stay inside for as long as possible at half time to avoid hearing it.

You're a bit too needy for Fish's approval if you ask me, before you give yourself another pat on the back Oh well... In that case now is probably a good time to mention that I don't do any exercise.

Tops - one wear, maybe two at a push if I've just worn it for an hour or so on a nighttime Jeans - twice Underwear - once I am a morning showerer (plus evening showerer in summer), I wash my hands after going to the toilet and I cook myself decent meals.. I think that covers everything. I rule.

Grrr back at work, I feel like I haven't had a weekend yet.. Still I'm the only one in so far so there's time to do a spot of loafing before everyone turns up.

The secret to sickies is to ring early (7ish) and leave a voicemail. That way you're unaffected by the reaction of the person you're telling. Plus it's easier to put your ill voice on when you don't have someone interrupting with questions and that. If they don't have voicemail, ring and talk to their secretary/assistant/the receptionist. Voicemail is your best bet though. I have left many an excuse on voicemail and then gone about my day of illness/emergency holiday with not a care in the world. Agreed.. though they've started bollocking people at my place for leaving a voicemail to call in sick as generally speaking messages about ongoing files/appointments etc might need to be passed on. Technically today wasn't a sicky for me anyway - my mam's not well so I've stopped off to look after her - so I wanted to talk to my team leader in person.

I heard about that this morning.. my team leader rang me on my mobile to apologise for her lateness as she'd had to get on a bus which went round the world before getting into town. When she'd finished explaining I told her I was still at home (it was 8.55am) and was about to ring her in a few minutes to tell her I wouldn't be in... Didn't go down too well..

Smaller files. I have a Creative Zen Touch which is canny but really dated now. I've recently been putting some songs on an Ipod for a friend and I fucking hated Itunes. Couldn't really get away with the Ipod at all though I've had my Creative for over 2 years now so I'm probably far too used to that.
