Congrats Boyo!!!! Enjoy! I guess a 19-yr-old doesn't really count as a 'kid' for these things, eh?......

You're a random little possum at times, aren't you??

Apparently some of the Chicken Run chickens are in a museum at the mo too. Poor Wallace and Gromit Good to know Morph's ok though, k4.

No. You are a disgrace to this thread and are not allowed to play again. I suggest you sit in the corner and think hard about your cheating ways. What is the world coming to when people take the second image.....

Wow, that's some nerdy looking maths, dotbum!! Why is my tea cold? Errr... ok then.....???!!

'lo! I've got Windows XP Professional, currently got Service Pack 1. And I want to install Service Pack 2 - I have the proper CD with it on. So, I put the CD in and all goes well to start with.... it goes through the whole "extracting files" thing... and then...... nothing. Nothing at all. It doesn't install, and these extracted files disappear, as far as I can tell. All the SP2 help pages I've been on don't mention a word about this happening. Also, I can't download it off the internet instead, because my stupid Uni Network doesn't let you download stuff. At all. Boo! Any ideas whould be appreciated.... ta!

I swear we've not had this on here before. And screw you all if you're gonna start whinging about 'spam' threads. Basically, you type the question that the person above you has answered. eg. Person A - "A. green and yellow stripes" Person B - "Q. what colour did you just dye your hair?" But, y'know, I'm sure you can all be much more witty and insulting than that. And then, of course, Person B has to type an answer too. To continue the flow. You probably got that bit though. SO....... A. £6.45 for the pair

I don't like students because they don't seem to view a comedy gig as a good night out.

I just found that if you ask it "what's 2 plus 2?" (no, i don't know why either) then it tells you it's 4!! I'm in the kind of mood where I find this fascinating.

Underwater, by Intercept. They're a random band I stumbled across at a battle of the bands in LA, when I had a few hours spare one day. When I got home, I left a message on their website to say I'd seen them and thought they were good... and the drummer got in touch so that he could send me a CD out free. Excellent. The only reason I didn't buy one on the day is because I didn't have $10 to spare. So, that worked out well.

Where are my shoes? It appears this fiendish rogue has stolen them I could so catch him though... even just in my socks.

Feltham Is Singing Out - Hard-Fi. Seeing them live in 2 weeks, woo!

Love it! I was terrified sitting behind the goal at an Aussie Rules match.... during warm up, there's about 10 of them all smacking balls through the goal as much as possible, as hard as possible. It's hard to duck 10 (plus) balls all at once..... Luckily, I just about made it out alive...

According to one of my uni lecturers today, if a floppy disk becomes corrupted then there's no way of fixing it. I don't know if he's right. Just thought I'd share his happy message.

Leave him alone, meanies

Hmm... ok... I've made more sense of it in my head now. I don't think it's that far off actually. But I'm not walking there, on my own, at night

You should get the one on the left (Lou: Ever Helpful)

I think I probably made it up too. I think it DOES start with an F though.... FenHAM. That's the one. Fenton's in Stoke on Trent I think..... Thanks Ise!!

Where can I find a decent (and understandable) map of Newcastle online?? I need to find some random place in Fenton tomorrow.. and I'll probs just get a cab there, but I'd like to be able to see where it is anyways... Any online maps I've found before have, as I mentioned before, confused me.

There was a cool place with a climbing wall that I used to go by on the tram every Sunday in Melbourne. It took us a month or two to realise it was there, and what it was, and suddenly we were so keen to go. We were planning a special trip out there so we could go, and we were gonna get off the tram there early one day so that we could investigate opening times etc. The next time we went by, it was burnt to the ground. So we never did get to go climbing [/random anecdote]

Big and blue and yellow?? Does it have BIG neon arrows going "COMEDY IN HERE" - "ENTRANCE THIS WAY" etc too? because it seems like it's nicely designed so that I can't miss it. And shakermaker, I'm planning to go to the hyena at some point too (but of course). My mate has gigs there later in the month, so, yeh. And there's comedy at the Union too, wahoo. (And mate's on there next month too... he's a busy bee.)

Thanks Tom. I think I'll stick with the ones that drop me off right in front of it..... don't fancy getting lost the first time I go!! DAMN it's been a long time since I was at comedy...... a whole month!!!! Two days used to seem like a lifetime before....! Good job I don't have an obsessive personality, isn't it?
