Thanks mate. They say most people can't cope with 6 months of chemo, well Monday is the start of month 10 and I'm alright, it's just my appetite is like Pavarotti's at the minute. They say everyone has different reactions to chemo. A lot of people lose so much body weight, while some like me, can't stop eating and I still have a pint. In 2 years I've went from 91kgs which was absolutely perfect for me to 110kgs. Mental, but you're right once November ends I'm dedicated enough to live in the gym.

6 times in my life I've followed through. The most embarrassing was I put 3 of my mates up at me sisters in Blackheath after the Charity Shield in 1996 when Man Utd did us 4-0. We were in Charing Cross Station at 11 that neet mortal and I followed through, they heard and saw. Three Lions by Skinner & Baddiel was number 1 in the charts that month and at the top of their voices for five minutes they sang, "he's followed through, he's followed through, he's followed, Stevie's followed through." Every fucka in the whole station was laughing at me. It was murder.

Derby away probably was my favourite game. 90% of your modern Newcastle fans today (and I'm not on about just younguns) ones who jumped on the KK bandwagon, many in their 40's today even, couldn't even begin to understand what that day was like. I was proud to be a geordie and so were the other 5,000 toon fans, in the history of world football few clubs could ever been typified by a game and atmosphere like that. Anyway we lost the game 4-1 with 3 sent off and Terry Mac sent upstairs too. Never been more proud of NUFC though.
