Yeah Tiote hasnt looked as composed as he was last season. Though still quality in the tackle. We were better when he dropped deep to pick up sessongon. Two clean sheets is what we deserve too, in think we have been solid defensively and that will only get stronger with a new LB. Im most pleased with the fact we stayed strong and ground out the result late on, something we have added to last season. Obertan is quick and covers ground but he looks, like Jonas to have no end product. Jonas actually did well second half before getting tired.

Game of two halfs. Much better prformance from us in the second half although we still lacked that creative edge and genuine threat upfront. Going with one up top was always gonna mean this was a low scoring affair. I would of prefered two upfront but we got the result we needed and we were solid and resilient which is something we lacked last season late in games. The mackems could and probably should of had 3 sent off today. Larsson for a blatant handball, Cattermole for his reckless challenge on Jonas and the one which the ref got right where Bardsley nearly broke coloccini's leg. He was lucky to get up to be honest. In the end we got the result we deserved. Massive three points and a boost going into the next game but today proved we need those reinforcements urgently otherwise the lack of goals and chances created will have us battling out games we should dominate. Raylors goal was a peach! Pleased for the lad who got some unessecary stick last week, put in another solid performance and deserved his goal.

Sunderland the better team so, more creativity going forward. We had a good spell of possesion but created nowt. Robbed of a penalty. Nice strike from Cabaye, Shola should of stayed onside and scored. Need an improvement second half if we are gonna win this. Marveaux for Raylor.

Agreed that the worry is not getting a suitable replacement. Its a crying shame that we are bothered about losing a RB who is painfully average at best solely down to the fact FMA has shown a lack of ability to "locate" quality replacements and "get them over the line". Im not nervous about this at all. It will be a typical derby game full of blood and thunder tackles and commitment from both sides. But ability-wise we are well better than them, its just whether the lads have gelled through the weeks training. 1-1 at half time in a tight 1st half, 3-1 at the final whistle. Pre-season he was well off the pace, against Arsenal he was still off the pace but DID show a nice touch and movement. Personally i think he is one of those who take a while to get that sharpness back and when he does he will get the goals. Just hope its off the bench more often than not.

Does anyone have BT Vision? We have just had a new line installed with BT Broadband and BT Vision... Theres a problem....Its says it needs a TV aerial and we dont have one, however there is an old sky box still connected....is there anyway i can use that sky dish as an aerial? I agree. This is looking more like a total farce now. A fee should of been agreed for either Cissokho or Pieters when we agreed to sell Jose. Well....thats what a properly ran club would do. More than that....its looking like FMA is still wantin to drive the profits up. We recieved 6mil for Jose so why the fuck are we not paying PSV the 6mil they want for Pieters? If we miss out on either AC or EP for the sake of 2-3mil then that really does paint a picture of how much FMA cares about the club on the pitch.
