Well, I am not a Rangers fan, but sitting next to Brian Laudrup I had got a boner, too...
-
That's it I am going home and kill a bottle of "Laughing Magpie". What f***ing brilliant day this has been again. I haven't done any work again...
-
Admit it... that's 'shopped, isn't it? 25501 Obviously. Michael Owen's head looks a bit too big to be real.

I only ate their once, barkeeper was a canny bloke with whom I was talking very long about KKs spell in Germany.
-
Why? Moore is still a crap footballer. And I stand by my verdict of Souness being crap until he has proven me wrong. In that case I just silently alter it to "bringing us the Chamionship" or something like that.

"Sorry lad, but you show commitment and quality, so you are not the kind of player we are after."
-
If that transfer happened as well I probably would f*** my freshly operated knee by trying to do somersaults.

It's not the proven Jimbo telly. I don't trust the fake copycat one.
-
Where is Jimbo with his telly, I need confirmation.

http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/displayN...tentPK=13110930 According to the local Nottingham rag, Forest are only getting 10% of Newcastles profit, i.e. 200,000 (the rag says 300,000 so is asuming he went for 8m).

I wanted us to get Nobby for cash and keep Millner here as people forget how much we lack in cover as a squad. But i can see Villa's point of view as they have little or no time to find a replacement for Nobby so they need to get a player in. Should this happen, I'd hope we would try and get them to agree to having Millner until January then they can buy a player of their own and we can have Millner back, but i doubt we will. 25287 Aye you're right about the cover, and that sounds fair enough. As things stand though, given the chance between Milner and Solano, I'd take Solano and then welcome Milner back at the end of the season with a lot more Prem experience under his belt, and hopefully the better player for it. 25303 Yesterday Renton was happy for a couple of seconds, today I have to agree with Gemmill. I better become a Jehova's witness as soon as possible because the last days are near...

I have just removed my avatar again in the fear that I could jinx it. With every game I saw of Villa I realized how I missed the Nobster. It is just the feel good factor that would be somewhat restored having the little Peruvian at our ranks again.

The return of a classic.

Celebrating his and Bobby's birthday away at Leverkusen in the Championsleague. Was a great day. Those were the times...

and So it will remain 7 million or does anybody believe Jenas will make sufficient appearances and/or Spurs will qualify for Europe...
-
Who says he isn't Blaydon...
-
No. So Owen "cost" £16m. What do you think happens to the £8m for Jenas? 24855 7.
-
Honestly. Go and read my post. It's very obvious. I even differentiate by saying "on the pitch". 24834 Though I think the better term for what you mean is strategy not tactics.
-
Though, I've heard the Newcastle balance sheets aren't exactly very trustworthy. The PLC is also a bit lenient when it comes to stock market anouncements...
-
Yes, of course we have, but as that money hasn't been recieved, it does make it easier though. 24768 How? 24774 We bought Woodgate for £9m and sold him for £14m: £5m profit. We bought Jenas for £5m and sold him for £8m: £3m profit. It's not like we're £16m worse off. 24779 We sold Jenas for 7m. FACT. We also have to pass some doshto Nottingham. Probably also a fact.

Who d'you think yee are like? Alan Oliver? "I know FOR A FACT that Souness had NO INFLUENCE on Mr Owen. The woman who mops the floor in the chip shop where Kluivert used to go said so " 24760 As I understand it Graeme Souness did play some part in convincing Michael Owen to join Newcastle United. He might not be the best football manager but he is always good with words. He also gives good interviews to the chronicle but not to the radio if they don't ask him nice questions. That is in contrast to several Newcastle players who don't give interviews to the Comical at all. Sources of the club also indicated that Brett Emerton will be a Newcastle player at the end of the week.

I hope they at least used my lyrics...

We know that we have a good squad. We also had a squad that was better than 14th on the paper. You pointed out to Souness good run last season. Sorry, but at two stages in the season we won a couple of games against second rate European teams and English teams like Coventry and Yeovil. Except that we got tonked at home a couple of times, played very poor football overall. The last goal at home scored by a Newcastle player in March. The signing of Owen has appeased a few. I was prepared to give him time after his first radio interview which turned out to be a great PR stunt. "The best team I have ever managed." "I am the most attacking minded manager the club ever had." "The club won't need an overhaul." "It is just about some fine tuning." etc. Those obviously were blatant lies. He hasn't been able to fulfil one of these promises. He demanded a complete overhaul. He played crap football and even the defensive record got worse. His only consistency is coming from searching for excuses. Souness had more then 50 games. 90% of them were crap. For me he had enough chances to demonstrate that he isn't capable of doing the job.

With the money we have to pass to Forest we at least got a little profit when you just look at the transfer sums. Still Jenas did pocket in quite a lot of dosh for his performances in meantime...
