1. Hooray, I didn't see it either. For once, I don't feel left out.
2. Or sticking sand in your head, like a famous Jorman footballer once said.
3. Well, it's more entertaining than the matches though. Do you want any instructions for paper planes... And to criticize Keegan for the odd game that was lost under his reign is the most hilarous thing I have read in ages.
4. I hate this phrase. It's absolute nonsense. Of course nobody would be happier. But it is about the standards of a squad you have at your disposal and what you make out of it. If you have good players and play "pretty" football good results are inevitable, especially against inferior teams. Good football is not excluding good results. I think a midfield of Solano, Parker and Emre with Michael Owen up front shouldn't be happy with struggling against very poor opposition. The aim has to be higher. 53438 Whether you like the phrase or not, it's still valid.... Often we played 'pretty football' under Keegan and ended up losing by the odd goal so no, good results do not always follow.... 53445 Though, in the end it nearly brought Newcastle the title. IMHO by the way to play games to win them instead of just trying not to lose contributed to the fact that Newcastle were a top team at that time. So. I don't think this phrase is valid at all. Because obviously nobody would be happy to get slaughtered constantly. But why are some people not able to distinguish between being happy about winning and being disappointed about the performance? Just grinding out results might be good enough for a poor team, but for me it's not enough for a good team (against poor teams). Of course Everton were successful last year with this tactics, but look where they are now. In the end normally quality will succeed, so I don't think it would be to bad too demonstrate this quality occasionally. Because if Newcastle keep on playing like how they have played mostly in recent weeks I can't see the club finishing in the top 6. With this kind of performances the team will stand no chance when we play the better teams.

6. Bollocks. I don't hate Souness, to the contrary I actually do like him. I just don't rate him as a manager. I'll have no problem with him when he was starting to be succesful. But for me that doesn't mean just winning games, but to restore confidence I'd like Newcastle to look superior to teams that are fighting against relegation. It also means that they have to get good results against the better teams on a constant basis. I'm happy about every game we are winning and that takes us up in the table, even if it means that those results will keep an average manager in charge of a good team. Because I share Alex's feelings that we have a better squad than last season. But I also want those players to show it.
7. Fuck me with a lamp pole and I was pretty sure I had seen the mackems score twice... 53196 Lamp pole. 53201 It was the largest pole I could think of for this kind of nonsense. Anyway, I'd like to get the kind of optimism other do have. Of course results are great at the moment. But for me just winning against the likes of WBA isn't good enough (I haven't seen that game). It's the same as last year when we beat Israeli pub tems etc. But with a nearly full squad struggling against Birmingham and being played off the pitch by Sunderland in the 2nd half is worrying even if in the end the games were won.
8. Fuck me with a lamp pole and I was pretty sure I had seen the mackems score twice...
9. 17 points from the last 8 games against mostly poor teams. How many will be added until the end of the year? Chelsea (a) Everton (a) Villa (h) Arsenal (h) West Ham (a) Liverpool (a) Charlton (h) Spurs (a)
10. Yep, today I declared myself officially insane not to cancel the subscription.
11. Post match- meet up outside the old club shop. 52911 Oh, another one who is hard as nails...
12. So, you're going to post it tomorrow?
13. So you were a fat spoilt prat who starred in private porn movies... I don't know how that is any kind of qualification...
14. On your bike son , i never miss, i'm the amatuer league Matt Le Tissier! 52418 And I'm Jorman. I think that should end this dispute.
15. Hello Kieron how you doing? Major, major asset my arse. Major, major ignorant, arrogant, overated prick. 52339 So, you don't like him? 52347 Maybe Smooth Operator is in fact Lee Bowyer?
16. Ticker for livescores https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=725
17. Strange, I remember France winning both the World and the European cup with both players in the starting line up...
18. It's rather Milan Mandaric tbh.
19. IM SUR3 BOMBADIL FORM3RLY KNOWN AS SWISMAG WIL B AXCIETD!111 OMG WTF
20. Has anyone Roy Keane's mobile number?
21. Shola had loads of opportunities to demonstrate his (nonexistent) ability. According to the stats on .com he has started over 60 games in the last 5 years. To say he needs more chances is just ridiculous. If only someone like Chopra had been given the same chances as Shola ... and I don't want to say that Chopra has the ability to make it in the Premiership either...
22. Well, I think this might not be as dumb as it looks. ManUre have lost loads of ground in recent years. Most of their signings in fact didn't have an impact that warrants their huge transfer sums. And after '99 ManUre have achieved absolutely nothing in Europe. People on here were saying Newcastle were going backwards since the end of the season 02-03. Looking at the squad and the financial possibilities at ManUre they are on the decline for some years now. Keane has to lose nothing (except his current and future job at ManUre). Even if the interview isn't broadcasted, he got his message across. The man might be a tosser of the highest order (and I have a friend from Cork who just loathes him), but you can't say that Keane was a spoilt prat. He worked hard during his career to achieve success. If he now sees loads of talented youngsters being wasters then he has got a point. But it is nice to see turmoil at ManUre.
