It’s obviously doing wonders to improve Isak‘s moral.

But it wouldn’t be fair to the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham as well as Liverpool and Arsenal if we were allowed to catch up in the next decade.

We aren’t getting hurt by a wrong system or tactical mistakes but just by poor confidence and team morale. We are still showing glimpses of the things the team is capable of but then fail to convert easy chances. Final decisions are poor as well as our passing. It is the opposite of two seasons ago when everything went right for us with even Miggy scoring wonder goals. I think the next two games will be crucial for us and Eddie. I would hate to see him go just because our board are fickle and want a change for the sake of it.

We really need some kind of momentum. Every player is looking totally off the pace at the moment, shaky, wayward passing. The only thing Howe can get accused of is not being able to motivate players. But our current stupidity is baffling. Isak‘s lack of form did cost us dearly today. Chelsea were clearly the far better team today but in the end their two goals came after a counter attack just after we didn’t get a free kick in a very promising position and losing the ball easily in midfield and lacklustre defending. Those 5 points we dropped before would probably have worked wonders to get players going.

The whole team has been pushing up. Otherwise the gap in the middle of the park would be even bigger. I have rather this than just sitting back watching them tormenting us. We seriously need a fit Botman back.

I am not sure what people did except. It was evident that their pace will hurt us. Having a front four of Neto, Palmer, Jackson and Mandueke is likely to cause trouble, especially with their players being on top of their form. Result is flattering and we look shaky but it really could have been a lot worse tbh.

Just a question of time for them to score again.

Game proves again why Chelsea are the epitome for me about what is wrong with football. They have done nothing for a couple of years but because they got rich several years ago and they suddenly became a fancy team they are still allowed to spend freely. But it is about us to keep the competition fair…

Watching Chelsea‘s overly inflated squad does really make me angry. It’s ridiculous with them being allowed to sign a ridiculous amount of players while we had to sell Anderson to comply with the rules to make the competition “fair“.
