1. Agreed. If we had got him people would still be moaning he's no striker or defender.
2. As soon as I saw your name in this thread I knew there would be a sub-zero temperature involved 188860 Only did it once, but enough to stick with me. Went across town with wor lass, who ended up being 'that fucking bitch' by the end of the trip, so I had to walk home.
3. It's been close, but I can't find it confirmed anywhere. Good signing for them if it happens. 188851 Agreed. Sunderland to gain promotion through the playoffs. Toontastic exclusive!

Something I'll check out in more depth when I get home from work.
6. Stands out well, but I don't like the aesthetics of the red for some reason. I figured that I would but it's almost too garish.
7. If thats the case you'd think Adidas would give us a modified shirt with a black panel on the back so you can read the names, other wise the club and Adidas both look rather daft ! 185319 well you imagine how it went: Adidas: Hello, yes yoo musst use ze adidas numberz now okay! NUFC: okay, but we can't see the letters for the players' names... Adidas: okay yes, very good, yoo uze adidas lettering now yes? NUFC: well okay, but... Adidas: if yoo not uze them, very big trouble for us an' yoo. bye Adidas: Hello?... 185322 Wait.... why are you talking to Blaydon?
8. Should make for an interesting return visit to Fratton Park.
9. For fried eggs, white only. I despise runny egg yokes. Poached/hard boiled I'll take the whole egg (minus the shell obviously)
10. The appeals are getting a bit ridiculous at this point, but you have to wonder why now Juve are the only club to have been relegated when all the other clubs' appeals have seen them put back into Serie A.
11. I think it could work out marvelously. Could go tits up also, but could do them wonders. Time will tell.
12. Top one was about £150. Bottom would cost you around the £300-350 figure that Gol was giving.
13. P.S. I have a 114mm like this one: And it's more than I need really. If I'd had the chance to exchange it, I'd go for this:
14. There are three major types of telescopes... Type one has a lens which creates magnification Type two has a mirror Type three (catadioptric) combines one and two to create a greater magnification whilest keeping the shaft short. All in all, type one is the least useful, type three has its proponents and detractors but type two is the one that most swear by. If you're looking to lug it around places, I'd definitely say that the catadioptric is the right option for you. You can get decent magnification and focus out of them without breaking the bank or the lens during transport. If it's going to be relatively stationary, I'd recomend a mirror design. All in all, probably the most important number to look for while shopping around is the 'f' rating, which will tell you how much light is allowed in. The lower this number, the harder it will be to see the stars.
15. What's wrong with the Martin theme?
16. Stats for 'western/modern' countries, probably.
