Where is the 'massively' option.

From .com was checking Physioroom to see if they had owt, but nope. What I did notice is that the teams in the bottom 3 (Charlton, Watford and West Ham) are each only missing 3 players, and it's only Ashton and King that strike me as having the ability to really do anything about their clubs predicament. Ashton is out until the end of December, King for the season. I can't see them getting out of this shit they're in unless they buy in the window. If that's the case, surely that takes pressure of the rest of the clubs who were, potentially, in that dogfight. I include us in that. I guess what I'm thinking is.. would it be worth our while putting our spending on hold? just late night musings I s'pose. It might be prudent to at least temper our spending, but this is NUFC--all or nothing.

Have we heard anything on the injuries yet??

I'm not sure I get the point being made here. Is there one? Why is Roeder bottom? Not really fair unless they play the same number of games. On a points per game basis.... Robson = 1.7 (64.6/season - UEFA cup) Roeder = 1.6 (60.8/season - Intertoto cup) Souness = 1.2 (45.6/season - avoid relegation) So Roeder's pushing Robson's performance but has had a much worse time with injuries over the length of his managership. I can't remember Robson struggling in the league like Roeder has though. And it'd be interesting if you compared their records at previous clubs. Also, am I right in thinking you are including oeder's record as a caretaker? It's not the same thing really. On that basis you could be in charge for one match, win it, and be the best manager in history! Robson finished 11th in consecutive seasons. OTOH, I think that it's fair to include Roeder's caretaker period in these calculations since he was given the full-time job. Carver, however shouldn't be included obviously; you should simply set a minimum required number of games for judging. I'd place that number somewhere around 40-50, which Roeder has not yet reached TBF.

He's playing them on his own? AND WINNING!?

The orders for my work are ridiculous as well. We'll order 5 binders and we'll get a box just right for five binders which will have four in it and then a geet big box with room for 20 binders with one in it.

Press conference is supposed to happen in about 5 minutes.

Austrian, man! I came very close to booking a London/Newcastle swing, but we ended up in Chicago. It was a good trip, I like road trips. Having saved the money on the honeymoon, though, we're definitely planning a trip to Tyneside in the not-too-distant future.

November 4, 2006. I didn't think that there'd be too many people off here interested in spending the money to come over, although there was a representation from Tyneside as my aunt, uncle and cousin all made the trip. I have pictures that I can post, but I'm not sure my wife would appreciate having you lot make comments about her family

Aye, that's my wife. Thanks.

Typical English attitude. If it wasn't discovered by an Englishman it's worthless.

Press conference set for NASA tomorrow afternoon, where they're supposed to announce a "significant find" on Mars. Rumor has it that it's actual running water on the surface of Mars http://www.nasawatch.com/archives/2006/12/...k_e_1.html#more

To be fair, George Herbert Walker Bush was pretty frickin' smart.

Do yourself a favour man, shush. It's an old old tactic, meeja types will deliberately say something controversial simply for the outrage it provokes. They know that the number of people who will actually stop buying/listening/reading their shite is insignificant when stacked up against the sheer volume of people who will furiously write off a reply and buy/listen/read next weeks offering in the veign hope the original author will retract his statements with a humble apology to the fine men and women who saw fit to complain. Howay man, Talksport do it week in week out, the tabloids do it. They do it to get people like you up on their high horse. If you're genuinely offended by something that an American (of all people) said, on a website, about the colour of a fucking strip, then by Gods man, you need to adjust your indignity-cannon. He's not going to retract his statemtn, his statement bears little or no relevance to fact or general consensus, so why, oh why could you give the tiniest of rats shit? Precisely.

Which is exactly what he wants... And why exactly would he want an angry exchange with a large amount of posters.A reaction - yes a mixed view - yes ,but if the entire reaction is negative ,his editor kicks his arse. Smartarse When a columnist writes shit stirring stuff like '10 Worst' lists, they're expecting an almost entirely negative response from people 'defending' their favorite player/team. That is the desired response as it shows that you are reading his shite and and suggests that you may continue to do so to be certain he doesn't make another 'error in judgement.'

Crap. Truly crap compared to FM07.

Funnily enough i've just been trying to see that pic, was on that 10 Premier League seasons link that was posted in another thread. Cheers!

Yeah, us guys. TBF, the disambiguation is rather important here. What would you suggest it be called? I figured it was the same thing, but I wanted to be certain before I got it and ended up with CM07 or some shit. It's a game where a ball is projected predominately by the foot so "Football" seems the most apt name.. I don't believe there is a ball actually involved in the computer game, to which you well know I was referring.

Anyone have that picture of just after Owen missed a sitter for Liverpool and he's got his head in his hands and so does the entire Kop behind him?

Can anyone confirm for me that this is the same as FM07? If it is, it will mark the first time I will have been able to find the damn thing in the US without having to resort to buying it off of eBay.
