Yes DVD Flick is slow and will fill the DVD up to max size. Another problem with DVD flick is that it sometimes produces the VOB files etc with the audio slightly out of sync. But it s a good program for adding in subtitles and easy menus etc.. If you want to save time, space and portability you could convert the MP4s to AVI format with Format Factory and then use ImgBurn to put them on disk. Most DVD players will play AVI format. Cheers, might give that a try when DVD flick finishes the encoding it's doing..... it's up to 28 hours now. And I did run into the sync problem; might just try again and see if it works second time around, but frustrating when it takes so long. At the rate things are going, I might just stump up the cash for Nero in the end.

I think that is a stupid way to work things out. It all boils down to win - lose - or draw, and total points. Isn't the point of W-L-D to determine points, and isn't PPG the only way to compare the number of points a manger gets against another manager with a differing number of matches?

Unfortunately Windows doesn't seem to support the mp4 format for DVD writing (even though they say they do, and it can play them in windows media player Giving DVD Flick a go right now; taking a while to encode, but if it does the job, that's just fine.

I thought handbrake went the other way? DVD-->Computer file.

Perhaps I'm just inept, but I've got ImgBurn and haven't been able to figure out how to make a disc that will play on a DVD player on it? I can build someting with an ISO or a VOB file, but what I've got are mp4 videos.

I need to burn a few video DVDs. I'd stump up the cash for Nero, as I've used it in the past and found it easy to use, but I just don't have the money to put into it at this point, and given the number of DVDs I need to write (few,) it's just not worth it. So, I've got files that are mp4s, and I want to put them on a DVD to play on my DVD player. Any suggestions?

Fewer than I'd like; they're all 7:00 kick offs and Blaine is a good 45 minute drive from my home. With a small child, it's just not feasible. I'll get to as many as I can though. I'll certainly be trying to make it when the Strikers are in town to see El Disco.

As promised. Not bad. People who were at the unveiling told me it looks better in person.

Evidently, Admiral Sportswear are getting back into the business. They're unveiling the home shirt for my local club tomorrow evening. I'll share pictures when they are available. I'm not sold on them in general, although there's a very strong nostalgia factor in Admiral here in Minnesota, where the Kicks are concerned.

I went to school with one of the inventors of youtube. Don't have any particular stories about him, though.

Looking into the possibility. Perhaps we'll get to see Chad Ochocinco suit up. Good God have you seen the clips of him in training ? he couldn't trap a bag of cement ! He truly looks dreadful, but it's hardly about his ability; it's a publicity stunt. Absolutely ! and its working like a charm. I do love how the headlines are all about how he "Earned a reserve spot on the team" when the press release fairly clearly states "He didn't make the team, but he's an honorary member of the reserve squad." Not quite the same thing.

Anyone want a signed copy of John Tudor's Autobiography?
Zathras replied to Zathras's topic in Newcastle Forum
PM it to me. If I can get there, I'll mail it to you with a bill for the book and shipping. -
He's doing a signing tomorrow morning at a pub across town from where I live.

And in what league precisely are they going to be playing in that shirt??

Always loved the managers who wore club jersey (yeah yeah) with a suit.

I'm sure there are some who'd be relieved, but I don't think I could handle having the pair of them on my wall.

I'm decorating a football (soccer) space at the moment, and would like to have some posters of NUFC players... issue being that I'm much more interested in older players than current ones, for various reasons. I've got a nice circa 1995 Les Ferdinand poster, as well as a couple non-NUFC ones (Stoichkov, Ronaldo (the real one,) Batistuta) but would like to add more NUFC if I can. Rob Lee, Beardsley, Gillespie maybe. From the late 90s, maybe early 2000s (if someone can find me a Silvio Maric poster I'd put it up prominently, just for laughs.) Any suggestions? I do have family in the Newcastle area who I can ask to mail me the things. Cheers.

I know people think I just pick on this bloke for nothing, but he out does himself every single time. Right Craig Bellamy went to this Asian kids house every day for 6 weeks in Newcastle to play on his PS with him. The kid had terminal cancer, Bellamy told no one and wanted no publicity about it, but one of the toon players let slip. That is a good lad. Savage rings some kid up says happy birthday fair enough nice enough thing to do, but someone tell me WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU ANNOUNCE IT TO THE WORLD YOURSELF. He's retweeted it so the whole world can see what a "good guy" he is. What a self centred fucking arsehole thing man is. Funny how he never retweets nen of mine. For as much as a cock Bellamy seemed to be, he did a lot of that sort of thing. I have family who work at local hospitals and he was constantly just dropping by to see the children who were there at random times, quietly doing what he could to try to cheer them up.

Best member video in TT history. Re-up? Doubt I still have it, but I'll take a look when I get home this evening. Lost to the mists of time, unfortunately. Can't find a trace of it.
