Lewis Miley - He’s one of our own (Stanley)
The Fish replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
Said it before, but I think Tonali was bought to recreate that link between forwards, fullbacks and other midfielders that we get from Bruno. Like Alex says, with two players who are press resistant and can make those line breaking passes, we can move to a more possession based system. -
I can understand a bit of confidence, they'd scored 16 in the last 4 matches. 10 in the last two and hadn't conceded. But... come on lads, know your place. You're Fulham.

Let's imagine Lascelles was even a yellow card offence (it wasn't), how does that justify, in any way, Raul's leaping bum attack? Two of our goals came from open play, which even with a man disadvantage they should have done better on. Tofu and gravlax munching arseholes.
-
Some are genuinely suggesting that jumping your hip into someone's face isn't a red, but putting your arm across your opponents chest while challenging for the ball is a definite red card offence. It's all a conspiracy, VAR helping out the big teams again and all that.
-
That is not my best case scenario. I want us to pump them by 9 goals, 3+ coming from the local lads, win at a canter, game over as a contest before halftime, no injuries for our lads, stadium emptying around the 60th minute except 6k of our lot singing and dancing back to the coaches.
-
More of it please. Couldn't give a toss about TAA not getting a red any more. I've had enough of players of 'big clubs' acting the spoiled cunt and getting away with it. Just watching MOTD, is it just me or have there been more cards for managers this season? Again, I'd like to see more.managers held to a higher standard than they have been. Laughable that they brought in a new rule to shackle Tindall and (correct me if I'm wrong) our staff haven't seen a single card?

Trifle is shit. Oh and all American cakes. Mother fuckers cannot make a sponge. This is going to sound mental, but it's too sweet, too uniform.
-
Wouldn't add Chorizo to Chilli, but have it in baked beans all the time. Speaking of sausages, American hotdogs/weiners/frankfurters can all fuck off.

Sly Bailey and Marcus Partington? Are these baddies from Paddington Bear or something?

Used to hate mushrooms then realised that was pathetic so decided to like them instead and I'm much better off for it. Great in meat pies, on pizzas, or in Risotto. Shellfish of all kinds can get straight back in the fucking sea though. Crab, lobsters, oysters, periwinkles or clams. All awful. Turkey is bland, dry and boring. It's the Aston Villa of Christmas Dinner. We've not had it in years and haven't missed it at all. We've had ham, beef or Chicken and been the happier for it. I don't like egg. Boiled, Fried or scrambled, but I know I'm in the minority so won't have too much of a go at a chicken's period.

Most of the avocados that exist now are here because their ancestors passed through the intestinal tract of Giant Ground Sloth in the Pleistocene era, if that makes them more appealing?

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER
The Fish replied to Sonatine's topic in Newcastle Forum
Well, no, but if me and my friends had £20m spare and Newcastle needed it, I would. -
Hopefully having Wilson, Burn and Longstaff back will mean we can rest Gordon or Almiron, Bruno, Miley or Joelinton, and Trippier.
-
Newcastle flop in Champs' League good news for Fulham (friendsoffulham.com) Some of them are measured, some are VERY confident.
-
Isak can play left or right side. Joelinton can play left side. Not ideal and yes, having BArnes back would be great, but I say again, Chill Winston.
-
That's only 2 weeks away. Chill Winston

And hopefully we won't be decimated by injury. Howe will have more experience, won't be as naïve. Overwhelming emotion is pride. Local lads scoring in the Champions League, smashing PSG around like the cowards they are, were it not for injuries I think we would have beaten Milan to progress to the knockout stages. Were it not for inexperience I think we would have beaten them away and Dortmund at SJP. Add a bit more depth, a bit more quality and we'll be a threat.

They'll find money, surely? Especially if it would knock £££ off their value? -
If Wilson is starting, you could play Isak on the left. Or bring him off the bench later on if needs be. Bruno, Longstaff and Joelinton in the middle, Miley on the bench. Maybe Hall at LB and Tino at RB. God I can't wait for the rest of them to come back.

I'll give you a concrete enema

Ok, but imagine a company with a global turnover of around €45.6bn, and a UK turnover of around £7bn, with multiple offices all over the world, who won't pay even pay for first class train tickets let alone hotels or flights. The events are usually held in London (where none of the team work). It's all shit Renton. All of it.

Had our Christmas do yesterday. Started at 2pm, bar was shit, food was shit, people started leaving around 4pm and there's only about 10 people in the team anyway, my train back wasn't until 6pm so me and the boss were the last there. He went to his hotel and I ended up sitting in the pub on my own at Euston station for about an hour. They wouldn't do it on a Friday because some arseholes think "the trains are too busy". These aren't people with kids or owt, just miseries who want to get back to their fucking cats or something. Utterly fucking pointless. Cunts.
