Is the loss reported on there a sum total of all costs incurred each year? So it would include any works done on the infrastructure, facilities, backroom staff, youth and women's teams etcetera?

If I've read that right, we've made around 85m loss in the last two reporting years? If so, surely we need to make a profit of 60m+ to stay compliant?

Everybody wants their moment in the fucking spotlight. Around the takeover we had people from Sky, BT, talkSport and the like asking the lads on the podcast if we wanted to go on their shows, provide content for their channels and shit. I've no doubt the same call went out to Pearson, Wraith and the rest of them. I couldn't be less interested, but when I saw who got those spots I worried I'd made a mistake. At least I could have maybe killed off a few thousand from their audience and made them think twice about asking gobshite know-nowts.

It's all part of the plan. Establish themselves as great place to farm kids on loan to so that the big clubs like them, that keeps the "Just play the kids" lot happy enough and fuels the delusion that these 'promising stars of tomorrow' may stay to help them get promoted next season, keep cycling through managers so that the failure to get promoted can be spun as an inevitable result of striving to get the best man for the job, sell the kids that show promise to fund the repairs of lifts and turnstiles, rinse and repeat.
