  1. Can't imagine anything happening because of it though. It'd take more than a disgruntled director of a local project speaking out in the Gruniad.
  2. Swansea didn't write off their game at Arsenal. Haven't we also performed well against the "big" clubs? Mainly because our gutless mercenaries want to get the attention of those clubs.
  3. For all we're playing shit away from home, we've still as many points as sunderland and Norwich, with a game in hand. Says to me they're slightly shitter and that could well be enough to keep us up.
  4. I pretty much agree with everything here. Might be a little more confident of picking up enough points to survive than you are, but if you're 60% confident of relegation and I'm 55% confident of survival, it's not really worth arguing about.
  5. If you're not dead set on staying in Newcastle city for the entirety you could try; http://www.valleyrestaurants.co.uk/passagetoindia.php
  6. But the status thing is a big part of supporting a club. If you fall below where conventional wisdom would have you, you're failing in the eyes of the world, aren't you? Also, going toe-to-toe with the big boys consistently is enjoyable. I agree under Ashley we've rolled over for them more often than not, but competing with Arsenal for 90 minutes is a lot more satisfying than competing with Altrincham.
  7. Will it? Won't he continue to run the club as he has traditionally? He's more likely to revert to the penny pinching approach and continue to employ the wrong people, isn't he?
  8. You think that will change anything for them? I think the only people that will suffer from relegation is the fans, again.
  9. Who to bring in though? Whoever it might be, it would surely be a short term deal? 'Arry?
  10. To be honest, we should have sacked him after the Chelsea mauling. 18 days for the new man to get to grips with the team. His away form alone should be cause for dismissal.
  11. Well I'm still about 55-58% confident we'll stay up, but stating something in that kind of detail seems to upset people.
  12. This is about where I'm at. This result has changed nothing and it wasn't a fixture anybody was expecting anything from anyway.
  13. Not sure. Isn't there something about, as long as we offer him a contract, there needs to be some kind of compensation from whichever club he ends up at? I remember there being something similar with Sammy Ameobi.
  14. We'll still be second bottom, but level on points, so not really further behind them. Unless of course we end up on the same points as them at the end of the season and don't improve our goal difference (or see them worsen theirs).
  15. Wasn't Thauvin ahead of him in the pecking order? Before he got injured again? Either way, gpirlo is right, given the option, Aarons isn't going to choose playing for a Championship club ahead of a Premier League club.
  16. You've got to look back at his injury record though. Would he have got 1st team games if he'd been available? I'd have to say probably. Pardew, Carver & McClaren more likely to take a punt on him as he's a more prototypical winger, certainly more than they are to trust Cabella/Thauvin etc. Given that, surely he'd fancy his chances of getting a 1st team shot at the likes of West Brom?
  17. Which doesn't give a full picture imo Personally, I think PpG is an important stat to be aware of, as is a comparison between long, mid and short term form, I like to see home v away records, and so on.
  18. Camp X-Ray, apparently. I'll give it a go.
  19. It is important, but it doesn't give the full picture until after the final day completes. Hell, the current table will be out of date in less than 8 hours. time.
  20. Has she shown any acting ability? (Obviously outside of the Glampire movies)
