Her job's Reddish, just north of Stockport, be daft for us to go on t'otherside of Manchester. don't really know the area, heard good things about Didsbury, but she's basically looking for an Ilkley-esque town.
-
Looking to rent at the moment. Going to be Didsbury/Cheadle/Wythenshawe area, whichever of those is the right combination of cost & niceness. Plan is to buy next year.

Part of the reason we're leaving London.

Never tried, but it can't be that hard. I mean, christ, if Mark Hughes can do it...

Just told the office I'm moving to Manchester at the end of July. Fingers crossed they're open to me working remotely. If not, there'll be another fun "Find the Fish a fucking job thread" ...

CT couldn't even tell who won the league, let alone which average player was amongst their team. -

He's fundamentally not as talented as Deubchy or Janmaat. Deserves praise for consistent (if not exactly eyecatching) performances in an over-performing side. But let's not rewrite history. -
That's him and Allardyce that've come out with this lately. Wonder what they have in common.

Uvavu might be back To be honest if he's not I'd play; Darlow Sissoko Mbemba Lascelles Dummett Shelvey Wijanldum de Jong Townsend Perez Mitrovic Force Townsend to actually put in crosses instead of Duffing his way through 90 minutes. *edited after seeing Holden's post. -

If we had cover at RB, he'd have been dropped to sort his head out a while ago. As it is, we can't afford any more of the 1st squad missing games through injury. Except for Sissoko. Fuck that guy. -

One of the few times I've ever celebrated the assist more than the goal. -

for the second season in a row. -
He's soon changed his tune.

Even though, in their tenure, they've seen young players blossom when playing alongside experienced pros; Carrol and Nolan should have been the blueprint.
-
Yup, the reason that Watson, Clark, and latterly Elliott, Hughes, (even Shola & Carroll) could get their chance is because the spine of the team was settled and committed to the club. The young players were able to be introduced to a system that most of the team were comfortable with. They were allowed to make mistakes and find their feet. Of course it helped that some of those were coming into a teams looking up the league, rather than down. Look at Everton, almost every season there's some new kid who's given chances and looks like he's capable of playing in the Premier League. I don't believe for one second that the congested North West produces more kids per club than we do.

Don't really have a problem with Perez's struggles. There shouldn't be the expectation that he and Mitrovic can carry a struggling Premier League side. We've fully fledged internationals throughout the squad and they're the ones going missing, who're coasting through games and failing to take responsibility. Janmaat, Wijnaldum, Coloccini, Shelvey & Sissoko can be quoted asking for support from the fans, but Mitro & Perez are the ones on the pitch doing something to earn it. -
"Sam Allardyce guarantees safety" completely ignores the fact that, but for two of the worst run clubs in the country, they'd be rock bottom with less than a point per game.

Mind he was canny as the bloke in charge of holding the GoPro for the preseason tour. except when he left it behind somewhere and Bigirimana (I think) picked it up.

Saw this on Football 365 Looked at his record vs McClaren. People roundly (and rightly) criticised Steve, they correctly regarded him as a poor manager. but when you compare their records: Record P W D L Win % Allardyce 25 6 6 13 24 McClaren 31 7 6 18 22.6
