  1. The three big set pieces didn't disappoint, but I'd be surprised if they did these days. My lass who I've dragged along to a few of these loved it as well, and she wouldn't recommend it if it was shit. Definitely got me hyped for the new Spider-Man and the Black Panther movies too.
  2. Criminal isn't it, for the want of a competent MD we could have been enjoying an entertaining Premier League for a change, able to look forward to a brighter future under Rafa Benitez
  3. He's doing what I was worried he'd do (drive down the line, cut inside & shoot from 20-25yd), but as it's working I'm not tearing out my eyebrows. His work rate has impressed me though; had him down as a Duff-clone, but the Englishman is working far harder than the Irishman did. I'd still prefer him to work on his crossing, but that can wait until the summer. Could even play him, Perez and Mitrovic as a front three in a 4-3-3, the former two driving down the flanks and Mitrovic as the line leader.
  4. We'll not get £10m plus, surely?
  5. I know it was low, but aye, anyone with an ounce of courage sticks his head on that. Stark comparison between him & that chance and Lascelles' goal. The latter didn't give a toss which bit of his body got smashed as long as the ball hit the back of the net. Captaincy has improved Sissoko's performances, but he's still not reliable. Captaincy did nowt for Shelvey.
  6. Please delete: Lascelles Darlow Elliott Mbemba and Townsend Yours sincerely All Newcastle Fans
  7. Wouldn't be surprised if the show takes a shortcut and has Osha taking Rickon to Howland Reed.
  8. Had a Chicken Kiev with cauliflower cheese for lunch. I appreciate that is not very interesting of that different, but I thought I should share because I had it here:
  9. They'll get that when they go to find Rickon.
  10. Simmer down Renty baby, I said that's who springs to mind when I think of Geordie accent. It wouldn't have made much sense to say Vicky Groves, now would it.
  11. God, that's depressing.
  12. When I think of a Geordie accent it's Tim Healy or, depressingly, Cheryl Cole
  13. Cheers, why the fuck didn't I think of that?
  14. Might they have the "good guys" defeat the White Walkers only for Little Finger, the Boltons or whomever seize control of Westeros? Oh for shizzle. Which is why JS must be resurrected in some fashion. It's too pivotal a plotpoint to discard, surely? Magic seems to be returning to the world and with it the White Walker's powers increase?
  15. Aye that's the jist of it. I'd like to think GRRM has it all planned out, but it's just taking him ages to actually get all the ducks in a row. However, It could be that this has got away from him a bit and he's got no idea how to tie all the loose threads together. If this were any other author I'd predict John is resurrected, he joins Daenerys and Tyrion to amass an army to return to defeat the White Walkers, albeit temporarily. Then Daenerys begins her rule with Snow and the Imp as husband and advisor. I mean, Snow would bring the North with him, Tyrion will be the last remaining Lannister able to hold title, blah blah blah That scenario is far to neat and happy to be what Martin has in store.
  16. It'll also go some way to paying back all the hours that the campaigners have put in. I wonder if we'll see a conclusion though, as I'm sure I saw a quote saying that the fight had only just begun.
  17. Surely there's a difference between setting out to get a cash settlement and accepting a cash settlement after 27yrs of campaigning as a form of reparation?
