You were doing so well until this post. One of the more subtle WUMs to be fair.

We'd have said the same of Hughton to be fair.

And Kirchoff and Kone. Yes Defoe goals were crucial but they did become hard to beat, which is why they went on a decent unbeaten run. To be honest Vill and ourselves kept them up, had either team performed to their par, sunderland would be down and we would not.

We were wondering if Mindy is a Faceless Man.

Although, I wouldn't be surprised if more was made of the divergence between the books and the show. The audiences won't hang around if it tails off like Lost/Heroes did.

Fucking Hell, you're kidding?

Maybe they won't pay it all, but I guess I wouldn't be surprised if he went back to the league where he did so well on a deal not too dissimilar to Thauvin/Cabella. Good job I didn't say it would be

Happy to answer any questions you've got.

Wouldn't be surprised if we loaned him back to Holland with them picking up his wages. I agree with Andrew though, there's a few players who's fee/wages might put off suitors.

Fair enough. Still think we've a strong enough spine to get back up at the first time of asking. Even if Ian Cathro is the boss.

To be honest if Burnley, Boro' and Brighton are the best that league had to offer I'm expecting a fairly straightforward return like last time. I've watched them each a few times and they weren't blowing me away. When West Ham were down they very much looked a Premier League team in the Championship. I'd expect us to follow suit.

He'd walk the Championship in much the same way Enrique did.

Pessimistically: Elliott Darlow Coloccini Lascelles Dummett Mbabu Colback Aarons Armstrong but even that would see us recoup a decent wedge. As we'd be selling >11 1st team players, each going for at least a few million. Even Cisse would go for c£3m at least. Say just south of £10m for the likes of Krul, Townsend, Wijnaldum, Mitrovic, Mbemba, Perez, plus the couple of million each for the likes of de Jong, Tiote, Shelvey etc. Optimistically we'll keep Elliott Darlow Janmaat Mbemba, Lascelles, Dummett Haidara, Mbabu Colback, Anita, Shelvey Townsend, Perez, Aarons Mitrovic Armstrong. But what's key is finding a manager who can get us back up at the 1st time of asking.

He does, and if Newcastle were to be playing in the top flight he'd likely stay with us. But ask yourself what level of club he'd expect to ply his trade? Clubs gunning for Europe/a sleeping giant in the Premier League. The top jobs are gone Arsenal, Wenger's going nowhere Chelsea, Conte just appointed recently Liverpool, Klopp is going nowhere Man City, Guardiola just appointed Man Utd, Liverpool connection would be troublesome and they're either sticking with van Gaal or going for Mourinho the 2nd tier are either gone or not workable Spurs, Pochettino is going nowhere Everton, Liverpool connection will be too difficult a hurdle Newcastle, 2nd tier and unlikely to get proper support from the shitshow of an owner West Ham, Bilic is going nowhere Southampton, there's rumblings of Koeman's departure but I'd be surprised, also don't think Benitez fits their model Stoke, Hughes is going nowhere. And he sure as shit isn't going to take a job at a club lower than that lot. Valencia had a shit season so the expectations will be manageable, he's loved there and he speaks the language.

Not made easy by his twitter activity. He's got himself a brand-spanking-new account from which to ask me if I've told the babies at toontastic that it's childish to hold a grudge?

I liked it when he anointed me the "Self proclaimed policeman". That failure of basic comprehension was spectacular.

Typical Greyman clique, refusing to answer the question.

Why wont YOU answer the QUESTION?
