  1. They'll be able to attract a couple of players from the bigger Premier League clubs on loan, Moyes will still have good links at both Everton and Man Utd despite the nature of his departures. I can see them finishing 15th-ish but doing so with a bit more time to spare than previous seasons. Burnley, Bournemouth, Hull and West Brom will struggle and I'm hoping Crystal Palace will reveal Pardew's failings too. I've no idea how Watford wil fair.
  2. I'm going to pivot table the bejeepers out of that.
  3. Just about to brave the Northern Line... Wish me luck
  4. I see you and raise you; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyB5CXnx2oQ
  5. You punching this into your Übertableofinformationaboutfootball?
  6. I found this interesting about Trump, by the Ghostwriter of "Art of the Deal"
  7. twitter ( I know) says £2.5m and Transfermarkt says £2.47m
  8. Gamez didn't play much, but that could simply be that he wasn't up to the standard to play more? Rather than not being fit enough, I'm sure I read somewhere that he was always on the training ground, so I don't think fitness is an issue. There's rumours we're after another fullback, England U19 I think.
  9. I wouldn't give it to any of them. I'd leave it fucking vacant until we've got a decent manager available.
  10. I'd expect him to leave, but it'd be nice to have some actual cover at fullback. Gamez, Janmaat, Mbabu, Haidara, Dummett. 2 of those 5 are often injured and the last is probably better off as a centre back.
  11. Pardew's not much better, I think his W% is about 39%? In comparison, Fernando Santos' top flight record is 58%, Deschamp's is 44%, and Joachim Low's is 48%
  12. If we'd stayed up and were building a side that could compete for top half I'd really try to keep him, but as it is, we need the Ritchie's and Gayles of the world, not the Gini Wijnaldum's. Good player, but no fight for us. To be honest I'd stick some money on him getting double figures.
  13. There's a few fake meltdowns that have drawn the real meltdowns out, like warm salty water does splinters. I reckon there'll be more blame aimed at the FA if they start poorly; disrupted preseason, head's gone, players not brought in in time.
  14. Got to work as early as possible to avoid the Northern Line at it's worst and to knock off early and enjoy the sun*. *Sunshine Sheilas
  15. Well, sure, there's that, but it's also got one of the finest* death scenes ever. It's a good film though. *over-acted.
  16. Unlike you to change your position.
  17. You've never watched Platoon?! That's more shocking than Ewerk's cinematographically impoverished childhood!
