  1. To be fair, we've got shot of 2 CBs as well.
  2. To be honest I'm just amazed Boris is doing so well.
  3. The forward looks quality, and I'd take the midfielder for a season if he was part of that deal. If I had confidence we're going to spend another £30m on players good enough to not only perform at this level but likely to perform in the Top Flight too, I'd be more worried about the extra £10m. But honestly, I think we'll sign a couple more players after Clark and Diame and their combined fees will total <£20m. Looks like it's a non-starter anyway.
  4. To be fair, saying that a very meaty sandwich looks like good hangover food could be expected to throw me off a bit
  5. Seems expected that Sissoko, Saivet & Thauvin will go before the window closes. And, we'll need a big squad in the Championship.
  6. I don't think we truly value Sissoko at £35m though, we'd have accepted bids around £25m if he'd not had a good Euros and 6 good games at the Euros doesn't mean you're a great player. Rafa's spent millions to bring Isaac Hayden into a role that will bring him under more pressure than AM and he's only 21. If you're good enough you're old enough, even in the Championship. I'd much prefer a permanent deal for players, but selling MS for c£30m, getting 2 promising players in on loan and still having £30m to spend on Left Backs, experienced pros and what not seems like good business to me.
  7. Aren't you the bloke that doesn't like Meat Liquor, or have I got you confused with someone else?
  8. I predict the coverage this is given by Fox, CNN and NBC will be fair and balanced.
  9. No, no, no, if you buy a player he's literally there forever. There's no disloyalty in football anymore.
  10. @@Christmas Tree will be along presently to explain it in full.
  11. Seen we've been linked with two young lads from Real MAdrid on loan as part of a deal for Sissoko?
  12. I can, (and have done while mocking up a simple spreadsheet for it), but if I've entered 22 by 14:30 and check back just before kick off and there's 34 users who've voted, it'd be easier to go to the bottom of the thread and see the last ten predictions, than it would to click view on each for and each against, matching them up with the scores already predicted. If people could do a simple: Username: 1-0 That'd make my life a lot easier. re: the unscrupulous, they can also change their vote, no? Or, to combat all of the above, we could maybe bring the summary time earlier? Noon for 3pm kick offs? Or when the Teams are announced?
  13. Unless you've got eyes on the Iditarod, I'd not get one of these "This playful dog enjoys vigorous outdoor exercise, especially in cold weather. Without such outlets for his energy, and without sufficient companionship to satisfy his sociable nature, he can be boisterous and destructive. One of the brightest and most sensitive of the spitz (northern or sled dog) breeds, yet still demanding and independent, Sammies need consistent leadership and early obedience training. They have a jolly "sense of humor" and often exhibit it when disobeying. The Samoyed barks a LOT, and some individuals have high-pitched, extremely piercing voices"
  14. It'd help if people put their prediction in reply as well mind.
  15. Dogs will be fine with a move after a few days, as long as you're around for a bit after the move to help the transition. Dog's are brilliant and are true companions, but don't get a proper dog if you're going to be living in apartments/flats. They can be left alone for a while, but as long as they've a bit of space and something to keep them from getting bored. Oh and if you're not going to get a proper dog, don't bother at all. Unless you've a chimney-seagull situation, then get any kind of short haired terrier you fancy.
  16. Well, obviously the atmosphere wasn't going to be great there man, it barely any good in Bar 1892 when the place is rocking! The corner were trying their best, but it was kids and families on the whole.
