  1. Apparently it's on BBC Newcastle but if you're not in the region you have to subscribe to the club's media thing for £4 per month to listen (unless our resident techs know of a way around it?). Beyond that you're relying on periscopes and the highlights
  2. Aye that's a fair point and if the players did keep possession and win, he'd take credit for that as well. Then have a dance. And then fuck a player's wife. Allegedly. Fucking hell, I hate 'Pards'. He could lead England to their 1st proper trophy since 66 and I'd still think him a cunt.
  3. Isn't driving literally your profession?
  4. Given Liverpool's ties to Spain through ex-players, I'm surprised they using Woodgate there and not, say, Middlesbrough where he grew up, will have links to boys clubs and schools and all that, and it's a place that seems to churn out quite a few kids with Premier League potential.
  5. He honestly believes the only reason they weren't passing the ball in neat triangles on the deck is because of injuries and the player and science, doesn't he? We had a team capable of playing possession football and yet, when we finished 5th thanks to an unbelieveable streak of fitness we played direct & counter attack football. We had Colo, Santon, Tiote, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Jonas, who all played 20+ games.
  6. I think it's as much about what it leaves them with as much as how good he is. He probably is good enough to play for Everton, but that's about it.
  7. This site lets you know which fixtures are being filmed; http://www.livesoccertv.com/competitions/england/championship/ but it doesn't look like the Huddersfield game is going to be covered at all.
  8. Repeating what others have said, but what a defender he was.
  9. You mean Djilibodji (sp?) Young Chelsea centreback. The rumour about us chasing Sylla from Anderlecht seems to be gathering momentum, but that could just be wishful thinking. Also rumblings that we're still chasing Knockaert from Brighton. Holy shit if we sign those 2 and a full back More likely we'll end up with David McGoldrick and Ola john standard players instead.
  10. Can't see them dropping. They're shit, no doubt, but they've enough money to buy their way out of trouble in January. Plus they've got McCormack who's worth points on his own.
  11. This kind of uncertainty can't be good for the team. He's not been training with them has he? And if he doesn't stay, they've not much time to source a replacement.
  12. He was supposed to be having a medical a week ago, but I've seen nothing since then. Mind you, he's a French player at a Russian club and I can imagine that there are many, many layers of bullshit they have to get through before the deal goes through.
  13. I'd love him to have the kind of break out season Carroll enjoyed and hopefully he'll get to play with a decent fullback behind him. Could provide a reliable supply to Mitro and in Aarons and Armstrong we've at least 2 lightning quick players on the break.
  14. Looks like a Borini style saga, if he was keen on rejoining them he'd have signed already, wouldn't he?
  15. This is where I'm at, sunderland are terrible and have a weaker side, but Moyes is a better manager than Allardyce. They need to buy some players soon though, as their fixtures in September and October aren't kind at all.
  16. They need to spend a lot of money and quickly, but Dr Xia is a full-speed lunatic, so I'd not be surprised if they struggled this year.
  17. Mackems haven't strengthened either, mind you. Losing Kone would be a big blow and it doesn't look like they'll have Yedlin or M'Vila either.
  18. Swansea might be a decent bet for relegation; they've sold Williams and Ayew, and they've bought Leroy "Relegation Guaranteed" Fer.
