Don't you just peel it open then cut a grid into it before dumping it in the pan?

Watched this last night. Had to put some Brooklyn 99 on after as a bit of a palate cleanser

You trying to smoke out the Mackems or something?

You're not wrong about his defensive contribution.

I've tried to think of another onion pun, but I guess that's shallot.

You can't judge him off one photo, there's layers to the man.

Top in terms of chances created and goals scored? They are. They're literally the top PL team for goals scored, and they're top for npxG, second for shots on target per 90...

I was trying to guess the track from the samples. I was doing alright until about 2009, then I couldn't hear anything over my creaking middle age.

I think games being much longer and being allowed to make more and more substitutions allows you to better use the squad. So players like Barnes can start the game on the bench, but still be getting 30-45 minutes every weekend. And then there's the cup competitions and potentially Europe too.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

I'll ask him next time I see him. -
It is improving, but we've been better under Howe.

Attack has some way to go to catch the top teams. But our defence is mean AF That means we're safely ensconced in the good box (bottom right)

He did, with a group called Outlier FC ( I think).

Fully aware I'm getting carried away after three wins but.... It's only the highlighted games where I don't have confidence of picking up any points (or progressing in the cup). And don't forget, we'll be buying £500m worth of world class players in January as well... WUHGONNAWINTHALEEEEG

Great result, great performance. Really helpful to go into the International Break (yet another one ffs) on a run of 3 impressive wins in 3 very different circumstances. Lewis Hall is getting better and better, seemingly every match. And I think if Livramento could play behind a similarly effective midfield/winger combo (JW&Big Joe) we might see more from him too? Gordon still doesn't look right and I wonder if he's playing with a knock? Longstaff does so much off the ball for us, but it was good to see him involved in the attacks too. If I was allowed to, I'd rename both my kids Joelinton. And my wife. Fast becoming one of my favourite NUFC players of all time. Howe got it spot on and even the in-game changes he made were at the right time. Hopefully if he gets the tactics and performances sorted enough, he can start working a bit harder on set pieces? Taylor was atrocious, not just the two red cards he didn't show Yates, but throughout the game he was missing fouls, not punishing dangerous play, getting simple things wrong like corner/goal kicks. anybody wants to rewatch it you can find it here; Nottingham vs Newcastle Full Match Replay - Premier League 2024/2025

Literally the first one I did. I was shocked it wasn't noticed with this one.
