I was there at Fulham, I was the fool that smashed his head on the low door, you were obviously just too shy to come up and talk to a living legend.

Which of our lot are actually at the AFCON? I know Atsu's gone, but are Diame, Mbemba and Lazaar off on their jollies too? -
I was halfway through writing a reply, but this sums up my feelings more succinctly.

Watched a documentary about Drew Struzan, the guy who created loads of iconic movie posters. Nice way to spend an hour or so.

Honest, but it won't convince anyone who isn't a FIFA exec that it's a terrifically well thought out plan to grow the sport.
-
I've yet to hear a compelling argument for bloating the competition. It's clearly got fuck all to do with involving smaller nations, and surely is just about broadening the trough that FIFA execs can gorge from.

That was before the window opened, but unless he's pushing for a move I can't see this having legs.

Is the worry that Yedlin and Atsu would abandon their defensive responsibilities and leave our CBs exposed? I like the idea of giving Ritchie license to roam as I don't think he has the pace nor the footwork to leave defenders bamboozled like Atsu can. -
I thought one of them had closed?

.com and the Mag have rapidly gone down hill. The latter more because they've simply become a place to advertise shit by letting any tosspot contribute. I include myself in that.

Linked with Fulham's Cairney and their fans are unimpressed with the prospect of him leaving.

To be fair, I didn't read it with as much attention as I should. -
Will you spend all night watching them out the corner of your eye?

To be fair, it's more than likely the 9 defeats in 11 games that's got him the boot. -
Brentford has a pub on 3 of the corners of the ground, it's a "proper" old fashioned stadium and it's not likely we'll have an opportunity to face them again for a while.

Yeah, I've no problem with plan A being pragmatic and focused upon defence, but I'm concerned there isn't a reliable plan B. We've an embarrassment of riches for this league, so a cavalier 4-4-2 when we're missing the hollywood balls from Shelvey should still be too much for the likes of Blackburn. -

To be honest, I think there's a degree of inflexibility to Rafa's approach that's costing us. He's pragmatic and meticulous and that's why we're having a good season, but I think he lacks the arrogance to play 2 up front away from home against weaker sides. -
Was desperate to get to this game, but it's just not going to happen.

How much were they, just to compare?

Scouts don't seem that impressed with him. Say's he'd be a good signing, bu they didn't get as excited as they did for Berge

Started a new save and I'm going to try and develop more talent from the club. I'll likely buy one or two in the 1st summer because I already know what weaknesses Newcastle have.

Plus it ignores the £30m profit we made in the previous window, as it's unlikely we're going to spend £63m!
