You don't play kids in a relegation scrap. That would damage their development and would damage your own chances of survival. You don't want exuberance and egotism, you want control, commitment and calm.

So close enough to be part of the goal's review? Way I see it, the offside was either going to be sufficiently before the goal for the defending team to reorganise thus mitigating the unfair advantage the attacking side got, or it's going to be part of the goal review anyway.

Right, you listen to me young man, if we fail to beat Wigan, you're not bloody allowed to complain, ok? You've said yourself that this will be a tricky game, so no mithering or else.... or else I'll give someone else your prime location at the staring window.

I don't remember that goal, how much time was there between the offside and the subsequent goal?

They're decent away from home winning at Cardiff, Huddersfield, Wolves, Burton and Birmingham. They also drew at Leeds, Brentford, Barnsley and Derby. We should have Atsu, Clark, Diame, Gayle, Hayden, Shelvey and Yedlin back to full fitness, shouldn't we? I think we'll beat these 2-1

Can you imagine Mike Dean with a Britney mic? He'll spend all week thinking up good lines instead of preparing for the actual match. Diving has got to be clamped down on, across the globe and reviews seem the most obvious method.

I don't follow? Surely video refs are there for binary decisions like goal/no goal, out of bounds/in bounds, onside/offside? Judgement calls like fouls, and what have you will still be based on the referees assessment of the incident?

Yup, Robert before Ben Arfa and Ginola before that no doubt. ?

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team

I mean, of course he likens Steve Parish and himself to Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in a classic movie, of course he does. But also, look at him highlighting leftback as the position he wanted more strength in. and no one is surprised that he complains that the medical staff protect the players too much Good comment as well.- 10610 replies

Now that he can just pop around to CT's, seems daft to log on, I suppose.
