If he's mint he'll play and we'll be obligated to buy him at a previously agreed price, surely?
-
Rumblings is that it's a loan with an obligation to buy.

It's all about the timing

You should take the youngest out for a pint and let her drive back to say thank you. That way she'll think you're a cool dad and when care homes need paying for, you'll get a good one

Nah but he's been "spotted" doing his medical hasn't he?

So it's preseason in July 2029, I'm skimming through my news while waiting to hear if a few bids have been accepted when I spot an U18s result that surprises me... Shout out to Josh Ryder who managed to get a 7 in a match where his team conceded 15.

Before I clicked the link I was expecting pictures of his lass. Little disappointed to tell the truth. Got to throw away this moist toilette now.

I'm hoping we'll shift Colback and Diame to be honest. If we can get £6m for a 17yr old I'd expect at least the same for two seasoned pros. £12m towards a new midfielder, a good Left back, or as a portion of the fee we pay for a striker? -
Aarson, Atsu, Gayle, Murphy, Yedlin. All rapid and we could conceivably field 4 of them.
-
Plus players who can "do a job" out there like Manquillo, Perez, Yedlin etc.
-
To be fair it was really subtle.

Getting shot of Hanley shouldn't be an issue, but off loading Saivet, Lazaar and so on might be a much trickier task. -
Which will make his inevitable injury all the more frustrating.

Hayden was preferred to him when he was fit. -
Bizarrely this gives me faith. There were no hints of this transfer before today. So hopefully there'll be other transfers happening away from the glare of the media.

All right Onan. -
Nah, little birds are everywhere. That's how Varys knew about Dany and Viserys and so on. I'm hoping for a Qyburn vs Varys snark-off

The worry for me is we've Hayden and Colback who can do a DM job. Admittedly Colback is poor, but we have no one in the squad who can do Shelvey's job other than Shelvey, do we? -
Wouldn't Varys have lost a lot of his spy network when he fled King's Landing? Qyburn certainly seems to have taken many of the little birds under his wing. I like that the obvious weakness in Dragon Tits' army is a competent battle strategist. Jorah is gone, Selmy is dead, Tyrion has clever plans but we've seen them go awry. Jon Snow is a veteran commander, and will surely have learned his lesson from the Battle of the Bastards? And Davos is another. Don't think that's the last we've seen of Nymeria and her megapack of wolves either. I'm sure there's a couple of viewpoint chapters in the books through her eyes. Was watching last night's episode on wireless headphones and their batteries ran out halfway through. Tried rolling them around and stuff, but no joy. Had to root around boxes to find some and by the time I had it had taken me out of the flow of the episode. I was disappointed with the sea battle too, so that and the headphones meant this wasn't my favourite episode of the season so far.
