  1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dollars_Trilogy "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is considered a prequel,[4] since it depicts Eastwood's character gradually acquiring the clothing he wears throughout the first two films and because it takes place during the American Civil War (1861–1865), whereas the other two films feature comparatively more modern firearms and other props. For example, Lee Van Cleef's character in For a Few Dollars More appears to be a Confederate veteran who has come down in the world, and a graveyard scene in A Fistful of Dollars features a gravestone dated 1873."
  2. Your impatience is deep rooted, huh? Can't you just wait to find out?
  3. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is pretty good mind. Batman Begins too. Does Godfather II count as a prequel?
  4. You need a safe space? Might I suggest Wookie Hole?
  5. Yeah I figured that. The discomfort Burnham feels at hooking the beastie up to jump-cables, so that they can get wherever they need to go is obviously going to lead up to a confrontation with Jason Isaacs. But the rest of the doohickeys they use, like floating interactive intangible screens and so on. Just jars a bit. That aside it's decent, much better than I thought it would be.
  6. Well all the snazzy new aliens aside, and bear in mind I don't remember much of the original series, but they've got those magical devices that create whatever you need out of thin air, which I can't remember from Kirk's show, but definitely from Picard's. Holographic Skype calls. And also, they've got a ship that can bamf anywhere instantaneously. And lens flare, which I don't remember from Kirk's time.
  7. Even though the in-universe tech is way ahead of Kirk?
  8. 2 out of three ain't bad. I'm not black.
  9. It was just a Banter. I have previously posted one of those league tables adjusted to account for erroneous refereeing decisions and offsides and the like. Just so happened that it launched us up the table and saw the mackems relegated. That went down well.
  10. Thanks Doc Tickles me that I'm accused of trying too hard to come off as a "decent Mag", when really I'm just saying what I say on here. I feel like the BBC, getting accused of bias from both sides.
  11. I'm still not clear on the timeline. Is it pre Patrick Stewart? Post Kirk? Some of the in-universe technology looks more advanced than The Next Generation, but they've only just met Klingons? I'm enjoying it so far though.
  12. I wonder if a more polished interviewing team would have got the relaxed version of Shearer's public face though?
  13. On RTG, by virtue of being a Newcastle fan I'm immediately a novelty and therefore more likely to get into a conversation.
  14. To be honest there's some good stuff from Shearer, but the fat lad only has a few interesting questions and too often steers the topic of the conversation back to him. I was doing this when you signed, you were my hero, I know someone who committed suicide so tell me about Speed. The other lad was fine by comparison
  15. Shearer saying he's all about hard work and shouty Youtuber "The True Geordie" nodding sagely in agreement. F.F.S.
  16. Sometimes it does feel a bit like I'm King Canute, but there's plenty of times I've tucked someone in. I also think there's some value in disproving some of the nonsense. Say again, there are some decent posters on there, and the ones who define their support of Sunderland by how loudly and frequently they show their hatred for Newcastle are easily ignored. People like Bear, Reiver or whomever. Plus at the minute their club is in turmoil, it's interesting to witness the tumult 1st hand. Like a AP reporter embedded in a country in the throws of a peasant uprising.
  17. Can't you make a Facebook album private, and shared only with those you want?
  18. Yet the natural enemy of those hoverboards you like is a Curb...
  19. I am quite unapologetic for my verbosity. I'm quite the sesquipedalian you see. Not ashamed, embarrassed or repetent either.
  20. Is Shearer wearing a shirt with his "brand name" on it, to fit in with the fat lad?
  21. "I've let a guy suck my dick so I could get high" "You ever sucked a dick to get drugs?" "No" "So you do have limits?" Was pretty bleak mind, 1 in 10 babies born in Huntingdon are addicted to opiates. Interesting that much of it was somehow linked to the demise of the heavy industry in that town, wonder if there's a similar consequence in British regions where heavy industry has died.
