The latter seasons were rushed and too eager to tie things off, but overall it was one of the best tv shows of all time. There's talk of a second series, which is a misstep imo. The Shogun series showed there's a real appetite for well written, well acted (for the most part) historical dramas. That doesn't mean that there needs to be more of the same.

Don't know enough about them, but Bordeaux is a big city, with a huge area to pull talent from. Buy it on the cheap (or set up a brand new team), spend a stack of cash on the academy, use the EU membership to bring in players who might struggle to get a UK visa straight away.
