Even with a limited number of appeals managers whose design is to deny the opposition points will use VAR to kill the tempo, just as they do with "injuries", and substitutions. Also, what if a team requires more than the permitted appeals? I know we've had games where 3 or 4 incidents deserved a better review. If we're only allowed to appeal 2 then the others go by without proper scrutiny.

I am underwhelmed. -
I don't want an appeal system. You'd get dickheads like Allardyce or Mourinho appealing an obvious offside just to waste time. They'll get better at implementing it, it'll just take time.

Home made pork mince and chorizo burgers, spiced lamb burgers, mozzarella stuffed beef burgers and fat fat sausages. I'm the King of Mince. (Sorry @Meenzer )

I don't want to sell him, but if he's in demand, jack that price up. £15m is buttons. -
Roped in a mate to help, he's done something similar before and he's an electrical engineer so is used to working with unqualified builders Piece of piss mate, I'll spend the first 6 months on drawings and spreadsheets, the next 6 on procrastinating, then the final 6 on googling local builders who'll do it on the cheap

What a depressing tale that song tells.

"Industrial contraption". It's a few small walls around some store bought kit, not the Wright Brother's infernal flying machine. The House is tickety boo to be honest, even have a stained glass window (it came with the house).

Watched The Iceman recently. Jesus that bloke was insane! -
Yeah that's the kind of thing I was looking at. Setting that on fireproof bricks within a.. dunno what you'd call it, a surround? a unit? Basically so that it ends up looking a bit like this but with the pizza oven in your link within that arch. or, if I can get help, this;

I want to make the end of our garden up a bit. Want a pizza oven and a barbecue setup. Was looking at the pizza oven kits you can buy online, but they're both expensive and look more complicated than I'm comfortable with as my first proper project. Might buy a ready made, more portable one and just brick around it? Mrs Fish isn't keen on me digging a fire pit. Something about me being "the clumsiest man she's ever met" She is happy enough with me setting up the basement with a projector and screen, sofa, fridge, etc. A proper little Fish bowl.

Isn't that 'just' a 10% rise on the last time we were in the Premier League?

That was the joke.

Spoilers man ffs -
Be fucking typical if we went there needing only a point and Mitrovic scores their winner, before sprinting over to celebrate in front of Benitez

Honestly think that shocking start means we can enjoy a long stretch of games against beatable sides where we can pick up points. Hopefully the top sides will suffer because they'll have more internationals who're tired from the world cup.

October through November look good, as does 2nd of February onwards. Only really Arsenal and Liverpool that stand out as games I'd expect 0pts from in the run towards the end of the season.
-
Nice to end the season with a trip to Fulham on the final day.
-
That's a rough start, but at least we get them out the way early doors. At least we won't be going into the final few games needing to get something from Man City
-
Been busy.

I like Mitrovic and it's a shame that he won't be a success at Newcastle under Benitez, but if it's a straight choice between the two; Rafa or Mad Mitro, it's not a choice at all.

Well, you couldn't have worded that more threateningly if you tried.
