  1. Has that young lad Maja told them to fuck off yet?
  2. Aye Cardiff and Huddersfield comfortably the worst two teams in the division. But the former have just spent £18m on a striker, which could change their woeful attack into something resembling competence. It's insane that we're not spending money.
  3. What's happened? apart from the 3 goals?
  4. Hesgoal.com is down too. Anyone got a link at all?
  5. Good to see every game of Football Manager ever, played out in real life. Of course it makes sense to scout far and wide for emerging talent, nurturing them and selling them on for massive profits, I mean of course it does! Ashley (or his advisors) perhaps saw that and wanted Carr to replicate it, but he didn't have sense to employ a manager who would nurture that talent properly. Nor did he have the ambition to push for more than mere survival. By the way "According to Zorc" sounds like a 90's Alt-rock band.
  6. Rich people famously don't give a shit about millions of pounds.
  7. Not our fault Blackburn can't afford the VAR setup.
  8. One thing I've never really got is the need of fans of other clubs with shit owners to downplay Ashley's shitness. As if the Venky's clusterfuck is diminished by talk about Ashley's. Shouldn't they lump on, raise the issue on a broader platform? The Venkys, Dutchalet(sp?) Oyston, Ashley and so on, these are all men who shouldn't own a piece of the local community because they're irresponsible custodians. You wouldn't entrust the running of the local historical monuments to them because you know they'd ruin them, why is it ok for them to run a football club? The other fans should be joining in protests, they should be working together to oust bad owners throughout the league.
  9. Shelvey, Ki, both out, Diame a doubt. I refuse to endure this shit.
  10. No idea how he's managed it, but a few more massive names and the fat prick can help Kenyon get some money together to replace the other fat prick.
  11. Already think there's too much attention on this kid. Sure, he's banging them in for the kids, but he'd probably be better off playing some league football outside the Premier League before we start pinning our hopes on him.
  12. I don't think we can play 2 up front with the squad we've got available. Rondon has looked paggered about 70 minutes into every game, so why give him another 90 minutes to play? Why risk him in a competition we simply haven't the depth, nor league safety to take seriously? Our wide men have, to a man, been shit this season, so those two forwards would be starved of decent service, no? We've no creativity in the centre of the park without a fit Shelvey, certainly not now Ki has gone for international duty. I can't think of many teams that play with two up front anyway? Most play with one centre forward and a couple of attackers wide of him, don't they? And who've we got in that position? Rondon, Joselu, Muto and Sorensen? Only one of those is actually performing well in the Premier League. Why would you put two of them up front together? Beyond a Mike Basset "4-4-Fucking-2" twitch. Benitez could maybe have given Sorensen a go, but the kids he's faced for the U21s are a mile away from Championship opposition (let alone Premier League). He could maybe have made substitutes earlier, but the longer Rondon, Shelvey and Perez play on Saturday, the greater the risk they won't feature against Chelsea.
  13. To be honest, £20m is not a lot in this market. Young, English, promising striker? I think they've got a decent deal there.
  14. I believe that Kenyon wants to buy, I can believe his team penned that letter and I think Ashley would sell for the right price. Trouble is Ashley's "right price" is nonsense, Kenyon is not stupid enough to get fucked over by Ashley in negotiations and by the time it's resolved one way or another, the January window will be closed.
  15. Comfortable 2 or 3-0 win for Liverpool.
  16. Oh aye, cos I'm sure I'll be reclining in tranquility for the duration.
  17. Loads of people seemed convinced we'd beat these because Jokanivc has them wide open at the back. Ranieri isn't Jokanovi and while we played badly repeatedly referencing the "worst team in the division" is myopic.
