There's surely a couple that have done enough at a promotion chasing team to get the attention of teams in the Championship? Surely? That said, they're not saleable assets in the same strata as Pickford, or... well, you get the point. Their best player went to Bordeaux for buttons, I can't imagine Honeyman or whomever pulling in the £18m they'd need to break even. Staying down in League One would put off investors that have enough capital to assure them of promotion to the 2nd tier (still funny), so cost -cutting measures will inevitably follow. Scouting, coaching, medical staff will be let go. Which of their high earners are coming to the end of their contracts? Because no fucker is going to pay money for Cattermole, and certainly not match his current wages. Of course, if they have to release/sell a load of playing staff, that's another unsettled season of 'rebuilding'.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

Spider Man; Into the Spiderverse. Stunning, absolutely brilliant. -
Is there still a EFL highlight show? Is it on Channel 5?
-
6 pointer for Cardiff and Brighton next.

I made an error in my typing. It is a typing error. It's a typo. But it is vital that we resolve this.
-
How old will Cattermole be when he leads their team out in the Checkatrade Trophy against Sheffield Utd's U21s next season?
-
Typing errors are errors in typing. It's not a difficult concept, you big ol' pedant you.

I think pace makes a striker more dangerous in the 2nd tier because the defenders aren't as good, aren't as well drilled. In the top flight, they're able to handle Gayle's level of pace and movement more easily than they can Rondon. We've seen it with Wood, Mitrovic, etc. Aye, if any of us were in charge we'd be offering a straight swap for Gayle who is proven to be exceptional in the Championship. To be honest if any of us were in charge we'd have just spent the £16m on Rondon in the summer.

A typing error, not necessarily a slip of the finger. Not necessarily different from a spelling mistake. Simply a typing error.
-
It's not even like they've been playing good football. Like, you wouldn't mind sending your young striker to 2017/18's Fulham because they were playing some cracking stuff. He'd get opportunities as long as he's putting the ball in the back of the net.

You don't seem to know what "typo" means...
-
Warnock will be hilarious come 5 o'clock.
-
Different style of football, isn't it? Gayle's pace and movement is exceptional in the Championship. Rondon's power and effort is not.
-
It was, yes.
-
Be harder to sell their club to Premier League loanees if they're no longer expected to be bouncing straight back. If they do fail to get up to the Championship (which is hilarious in and of itself) it will only get harder to manage it in the future.
-
Barton shithouses to a 2-0 win, one soft penalty and one offside goal?
-
I'd fucking love for them to fail in the Play Off semi final. Not even the "glory" of a Play Off final to enjoy. All their optimism would turn to ash in their mouth.
-
It is Hughton, dunno what happened there. Can you ever forgive my typo?
-
Pretty confident Brighton will survive again. Can Houghton take Brighton beyond the perennial relegation fight? They remain decent at the back, but despite the amount they've spent, they've not got a good attack. Houghton failing to identify what the club needs, or unable to get the talent they need?
-
Another game where they've gone behind. I don't think they're good at the back, or good up front, I just think that level of football is entirely shit and they're getting by because everyone else is even worse.
-
Yeah, but just because they're ignorant of the broader context, doesn't mean should lower our standards of scrutiny.
-
Dunno about the overhaul, was just bringing it in line with our situation in the Championship. I agree that Ross isn't exactly impressing. They're difficult to beat, but they don't have an outstanding defence, or prolific strikeforce. That they've "rescued" so many draws from losing positions says to me that Ross hasn't got the game plan right to begin with and they're relying on effort/moments of comparative quality? 9 of their 17 draws(!) have come via Sunderland equalisers. 27 of their 80 pts have come in games where they've had to come from behind. Kudos for the comebacks, but it doesn't say to me that the manager has planned properly for the opposition? Last two seasons they've sold their top goal scorer in January, without recouping a great deal of money for them, or even replacing them satisfactorily. That's not a good idea at all. Should they go up, be it automatically or via the play offs, they're not in a great place to do much more than pray for survival.

Devil's advocate here; Are we being harsh by stating that anything but comfortably winning the league is a failure of a season, and given the overhaul that squad's been through, getting promoted is the be all and end all? As it was for us in the Championship?

Your argument in this instance isn't against VAR, it's against part of the hand ball law.
