  1. Knackered. Son was born June 27th. Mrs Fish had 28hrs labour before ending up with a c-section because little man was in the wrong position and wasn't so little. Born at 01:57 am, weighing a hefty 10lbs (4.5kg). All fine and dandy, however the hospital boots people out at midnight, so we finally get down to the ward at about 4, and the midwife immediately tells me I have to leave. Normal birth that might not have been a problem, but Mrs Fish had been in hospital since 8am Monday, had been nil-by-mouth since tuesday night and hadn't slept properly in days. She could barely sit up, let alone pick up the chunky little bugger. Other parents from the Antenatal group said the partners were allowed to stay overnight in the other hospital we were considering. Anyway, he's mint, got the first couple of proper smiles last night.
  2. Cheers, Had less time to spend on here due to work, and the arrival of a little Fish on June 27th
  3. Good to see somethings don't change. Northern Monk is really good, for what it's worth and the venue was amazing. We paid to hire the place for the Saturday evening, but anything we spent at the bar was deducted from the total.
  4. Agree to disagree, I don't rate him that highly as a ball carrying CB, but what the fuck do I know?
  5. Nice one. The epic bantz is in effect.
  6. Got married there and genuinely drank them dry of one their beers.
  7. He's a big brute of a CB, but is he much more than that? Never thought of him as an organiser, nor particularly good on the ball. £85m is mental.
  8. At £65, it's now the most expensive shirt in the Premier League. Top of the overpriced tat league! https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/sport/newcastle-uniteds-65-shirt-the-most-expensive-in-english-football-gsh9jw0rj That's not even the £95 you can shell out on a "Players authentic" shirt. Robbing cunts.
  9. true enough. It might not be accurate, it probably isn't, but I'm just saying that preconception is what's stopped me searching out a game.
  10. I like the idea of D&D (a creative tabletop game) but I'm put off by my preconception of the people who play it...

    I've seen mentions of somewhere between £1m & £2m
  12. Managers are hugely undervalued imo. Like him or loathe him Warnock delivered Premier League promotion on a shoestring and that season was worth c£100m! Solskjaer has hundreds of millions of pounds "worth" of talent at his disposal and yet he's unlikely to deliver any kind of success in his presumably short tenure as Man Utd boss. It would cost fuck all to sack him now, and what, £20m to break Pochettino's contract? But rather than do that, they'll five times that on players and more on wages and agents.
  13. You stated you'd never walked out on a movie before then the last couple of movies you've mentioned on here, you've walked out on. Ever game on that board is shit. Every tv show is boring to the point you have to look for spoilers. Miserable. Cunt.
  14. I swear I've not seen Ant give a good review about anything. Not TV, not film, not computer games. He's a right miserable cunt.
  15. We weren't even shit enough to need a Championship Play-off trip to Wembley. Instead, despite assurances from Wearside that we'd struggle, we finished 1st in that league both times.
  16. Nah, Benitez is a fraud, is massively overrated and is a terrible judge of player. So, if anything Benites will be holding us back.
  17. There's a fucking good chance it'll fall at the last because of his ego/chaver-ness
  18. Football fans, no matter how many decades of shit you put up with, you still have hope.
  19. The club not refuting this, and the bit in bold specifically, could be big. Still, it's Ashley. Time for him to offer the Sheikh's representatives a celebratory Pint and Pork Pie.
  20. This is the same guy who tried and failed to buy Liverpool isn't he? I'm doing my best not to get excited.
