He's getting into the right areas, he's not hiding from the ball, still playing with a smile (albeit a weird smile). He'll get his goal and hopefully with a bit more coaching he'll improve his decision making. e.g. the chance that Maximin handed him, he could/should have put his laces through it, but I honestly believe he wants to make sure he doesn't spanner one off into the stands that he took almost too much care.

Same Will Grigg who was apparently so "on fire" seriously skint Sunderland smashed the League One transfer record to spend £3m on his goal scoring talent. Same Will Grigg who has as many League goals as a striker for the "biggest club in the division" as Fabian Schar, a centre back for one of the worst teams in the league.

They're a big scalp purely because the rest of that division are teams like Oxford, Wycombe and Accrington Stanley. Who, with all due respect, are minnows. If Sunderland stay down there for much longer, you're right, they'll stop being a scalp, just like Portsmouth have.

You think if they stay down in League one for another season they'll shift focus on a rivalry with a team down there instead? Must be hard to stir yourself into trying to have go at us, surely easier to havea a go at Doncaster or someone?
