Chart 1 has a broad explanation already. NUFC specific it shows that we're conceding a lot of chances and not really creating that much. Chart 2 shows the efficacy of attack; above the line = scoring more than you'd expect, below = scoring fewer. Ideally you want to be close to MCI - creating loads, but scoring even more. Chart 3 shows the quality of defence; above the line = conceding more than you'd expect, below = conceding fewer. Ideally you want to be where Liv are - allowing few chances and conceding even less. Chart 4 is essentially the same as Chart 3, but with the also showing the total number of goals conceded by size of bubble.

Top left - not creating a lot of chances, allowing a lot of chances Bottom left - not creating a lot, but not allowing a lot Top right - creating and allowing a lot Bottom right - creating a lot, not allowing a lot GF vs xG after 3 games GA vs xGA after 3 games Avg GA, Avg xGA, and bubble size based on total goals conceded.

When the menu is the size of a family saloon I admit I get a little bamboozled.

Was up to visit the folks recently with my lad. Went to Coastline at Blyth Beach for tea. Fucking hell it was grim. I got a burger and it was bad enough as it is, but on my first bite I discovered they'd put a thick cut piece of cucumber in there. Not a pickle, a fucking warm, doorstep of cucumber. Why? Lesson learned, never let your sister pick the place you eat. There's fucking loads of good or great chip shops around there, and she chose the worst one.

I liked the first season of Luke Cage, but it suffers a bit from the same problem that Daredevil S2 had. 50% really good, 50% a bit boring. It's got a brilliant soundtrack though. Avoid Iron Fist. I liked Moon Knight, but it might be a bit too... comic booky for you. There's a whole big CGI monster fight in it at one point. Away from Marvel, you could try Reacher?

I think it's a bit of both to be honest. They're stocked with players who are massively overhyped. Like Martinez, Dalot, Onana, Maguire, Lindelof, Mount. Some of them wouldn't look out of place at Fulham, or Wolves. The only thing that digs them out of the shit is that they have inconsistent players who can pluck a wondergoal out of their arse enough times to keep them in the conversation. Fernandes is totally wasted in Ten Hag's side, but he is an extremely creative rattus norvegicus. Changing the manager might get a better performance from some of these players, but I'm not sure they're that good, and they're not puzzle pieces that fit together.

7 players for 3 positions, especially when the style we play takes it's toll on those positions. I could see us picking him up now, not because we need him, but because he's available now at the right price.
