  1. If I got a doctorate in data-stuff I'd 100% insist on being referred to by my title, and if ever someone asked "Is there a Doctor on board", I'd rush over to help with my framed doctorate.
  2. Botman missed 21 league games last season Trippier's form is of concern, but Tino's form is not. We have two fully fit strikers Schar and Burn haven't suddenly turned into Methuselah in the past 6 months. Our first team now has; a fully fit Pope A stronger back line because of; Hall and Livramento having more experience and more time with Howe, Kelly is an upgrade on Lascelles at the very least, Hopefully Guehi will come in as an upgrade on Schar too. More depth in the centre as we'll have Bruno, Joelinton, Longstaff, Miley (x2), Tonali, and Willock More depth up front as Isak will start and Osula will be deputy until Wilson returns, then we'll have 3 strikers. If we sell Wilson, then I'm confident we'll bring in someone else. We're a lot stronger than last season, especially if we can avoid repeating the worst injury crisis I've ever seen at Newcastle.
  3. For what it's worth Redcafe seem pretty positive about us; Predict the 24/25 Premier League Table | RedCafe.net
  4. Probably should hold off until the window closes to cement this, but here's a thread anyway. Signing of the season: Whichever big signing we make before the window closes. Top goalscorer: Isak Most assists: Gordon Biggest surprise: Osula displaces Wilson as second choice striker. Best Young player: Hall Player of the season: Bruno PL finish: 5th Trophies? League Cup
  5. As proven by this frankly pitiful cry for attention.
  6. Gillian McKeith Yeah, I'm disappointed in myself for knowing that.
  7. Neither of these posts sound particularly Straight Edge.
  8. Dunno what you've confused my genial indifference for?
  9. Scored for Portsmouth at Leeds on Saturday. Home - Portsmouth FC Still got the Geordie twang
  10. Always fancied a driving holiday through Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. Have to admit despite claims of Southern hospitality I would be worried about some of the parts between.
  11. I've been on plenty of other clubs' message boards and the recurring theme is that whenever they've an away day in Sunderland thy either stay for a night out in Newcastle, or are in and out like a black ops rendition team.
  12. Yeah I can only see Ruddy acting as some kind of ersatz coach. Pope is number 1, Vlacho will likely be deputy, or maybe Ruddy. Gillespie is target practise and Ruddy is the old pro. Surely Dubravka is off?
  13. I live in Cheshire man, can't be hanging the clothes outside like we live in a Glaswegian tenement! (In all seriousness we've got airers and a line, but the dryer function is a must.) Anyway, it's sorted, Joiner is going to work his magic and we've got him to do some other bits while he's here. Old one came in through the lightwell, but that's not possible now. The fuck is the difference between spin, and tumble drying, you goober?
  14. Look, next time the wife buys something I'll be sure to give her that advice, using just those words. Gemmil will have the number of a good divorce lawyer, right? And the dryer function is...?
  15. The existing (broken washing machine) is 60cm wide. What say you now, fucko?
  16. Two kids means I need at least a 8k drum. If you can find a 8k drum, with <58cm width, for a reasonable price, holler atcha boy. If not...
  17. This would take their first team squad to around 43 players. Now, I'm sure there'll be some departures, some loan deals, but fucking hell. By contrast, Arsenal have 24, Aston Villa have 30, Liverpool have 30 Man City have 28 (and that includes Alvarez who'll be off), Man Utd have 28 and we have 35
  18. Exactly this. if the house needed me to write a query, code an automated process or do something snazzy in Excel or Tableau, then I'm your man. Unfortunately, those things rarely crop up outside of work.
