The manager, other members of the board all saying, £1.25m is fine, but no more, yet Donald loses his mind and spends an absolute fortune on an average player. I'd have thought it would be the other way around, the manager and the other advisors insisting the deal has to be done.

Some of the pieces I couldn't get interested in, but the prospector, James Franco's bit, and the singing cowboy were class.

My ignorant two penneth PL will want the money that a ridiculously wealthy owner could pour in. They'll want measures taken to reduce piracy in the MENA region. They'll want a bidding war for that same region. Qatar will want to exclude KSA from the Premier League and have monopoly on broadcast rights for the MENA region and to get a public 'win' against KSA KSA will want a PL club to diversify their investments and sportswash their regime UK government will want to keep their trade partner happy, and have more wealth poured into the country. Surely KSA can arrest some patsy to show willing, further relax restrictions on BeIN broadcasting in KSA and then bid for broadcast rights that end 2022? It'd cost them comparatively little money, very little political capital and establish a firm grip on the PL in the MENA region which could be spun as a bigger win than Qatar's? If the PL give KSA a seat at the table, it makes the piracy problem, their problem. If they exclude them, then won't KSA simply continue to tolerate/support piracy of the Qatari feeds?

Yeah, I switched back to the recorded crowd noises. The silence was eerie. To be honest, I'm expecting each of our televised games to feel like a behind-closed-doors preseason friendly. Wasn't there something about humans who identify as a woman, but haven't undertaken any physical changes to reflect who they are within, want to use women's toilets? I can see why women may be uncomfortable with the thought of what is, anatomically speaking at least, a male, being allowed in a space where they'd be more vulnerable. Also, didn't Rowling say something like "Women who menstruate"? I don't see how transwomen could find that offensive, isn't the very act of specifying "that menstruate" an indication that Rowling accepts that there are women who don't? I'm not asking you to provide answers btw.
