Depends what you're after I guess. I thought Oppenheimer was great cinema. I enjoyed Barbie too. Also, CGI is a stick used to beat modern movies, but to be honest bad CGI is usually because the studios don't give the CGI artists enough time or money to get the job done right. Good CGI isn't praised because often you don't notice it. I don't blame the tool, or even the craftsmen, I blame the studios. Just curious, what was the last film you actually enjoyed? -
I haven't even pressed play, but I guarantee Renton hates it because "there's been no decent music since" the 50s or whenever he was a kid.

Aye, I've got zero interest in watching an origin story for Furiosa. She wasn't mysterious enough a character for me to give a shit. First film she was in told me everything I needed to know about the character. Buuuuuut Fury Road was an absolute blast. -

We watched it at an IMAX with the whole wobbly seats and all that. It was an amazing piece of cinema in that environment, don't think it'd be anywhere near as good at home. -

Look, we can all agree that I've made some mistakes, but I'll learn from them and do better. Or I won't. Either way, Renton is wrong. -

Hah, fair point. But it's such a good film, it deserves to be part of anyone's watching list -
How much of an impact will this dissension have, though? The rabid MAGA-loons will vote for Trump regardless of what he does, says, is arrested for.

Mostly just to see what films that are terrible that CT rates. I'll admit horror isn't my thing, but Hereditary, Get Out, Train to Busan all got good reviews on there release? Sci Fi - Arrival, Ex Machina, Mad Max Fury Road, Arrival, Annihilation, Interstellar, Dune, Fantasy is trickier. But the Dungeons and Dragons film was a laugh, I guess? War - Hacksaw Ridge, Dunkirk, Openheimer, 1917 Crime - Knives Out, Promising Young Woman, Good Time, Hell or High Water, Nightcrawler, Prisoners None of them sequels, none of them remakes, no Marvel film or DC, -

@Christmas Tree I'd like a list of ten films, from 1 to 10. I want to see how your system works? -
Nah I'm thinking;

I only recently learned that professor comes before other honorifics. Like Professor Sir Stephen Hawking.

Saw something on twitter that makes sense, it's likely because they're going to re-release the original.

I think Hall played quite a few minutes in the 6 role during preseason. He'll provide a little depth in that position. I wouldn't have Hayden around the first team, to be honest. He's just not at the level needed.

I work for a telecoms company, but the lad I'm talking about works in energy. There are Personal Improvement Plans, and endless HR conversations apparently. The bloke might be useless, and a bit of a petty politician, but like I said, he's delivering just enough to avoid all that.
-
I've a mate in a similar position, except the problem person reports into him. He wants shot of the bloke, other team members want shot of him, but the word from on high is that it'd be too much of a cost to fire him. Nothing the bloke has done is gross misconduct or negligence, he's just good enough to not get fired. My mate is trying to get him a move sideways to another department, let him be their problem. Either that or promote him, put this bloke in a position to get himself fired.

I'll use my joiner.

If I got a doctorate in data-stuff I'd 100% insist on being referred to by my title, and if ever someone asked "Is there a Doctor on board", I'd rush over to help with my framed doctorate.

Botman missed 21 league games last season Trippier's form is of concern, but Tino's form is not. We have two fully fit strikers Schar and Burn haven't suddenly turned into Methuselah in the past 6 months. Our first team now has; a fully fit Pope A stronger back line because of; Hall and Livramento having more experience and more time with Howe, Kelly is an upgrade on Lascelles at the very least, Hopefully Guehi will come in as an upgrade on Schar too. More depth in the centre as we'll have Bruno, Joelinton, Longstaff, Miley (x2), Tonali, and Willock More depth up front as Isak will start and Osula will be deputy until Wilson returns, then we'll have 3 strikers. If we sell Wilson, then I'm confident we'll bring in someone else. We're a lot stronger than last season, especially if we can avoid repeating the worst injury crisis I've ever seen at Newcastle.
