  1. That's not true. He's managed 6 seasons where he's played >20 games and in only half of those has he scored more than 10 goals. Fine to sign him as a back up, but when you consider the money he'd cost, and the question marks over his injury record, and the goal return, we're better off spending elsewhere.
  2. I don't think too mache of Dougle.
  3. The worrying thing for me is that, for you, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
  4. Whatever else happens, we can always rely on MF to romaine the same.
  5. Bit generous that. Ings has had a good season, but he's 28 at the end of the month and his average goal return across his 11 seasons is 6. He's a 1 in 3 striker. Better than what we've got, sure, but we should be going for better than Danny Ings.
  6. Newcastle lift the 2020/21 FA Cup to complete a domestic cup double and the the city is a bacchanalian orgy of excess, all bar poor old trooper, kicking stones and sullenly muttering about how the takeover took ages.
  7. Dream scenario would need Bournemouth to get 5-6 points to overturn the 4pt gap on West Ham, sending them and Villa down. But to be honest, I can only see Bournemouth getting max 4pts before the end of the season. Of the two, I'm not sure who I'd prefer to go, West Ham or Villa. West Ham would be as funny as Villa would be satisfying.
  8. No doubt in my mind that they expected the piracy issue to be an obstacle, they may have underestimated it's scale, but any half-decent counsel would surely have flagged it as an issue that would need attention.

A stitch in time and all that mate. If you've a dataset with a large number of variables, Excel will let you down. You end up needing multiple tables and possibly Macros. You're right that a database would be better, but if you've Access you could knock something useful up pretty quick. Table with all the Product, Table with all components, Table with stocks. If you've got a stack of products, each from a multitude of components then there's just too many variables. I caveat all of this by admitting that I'm a moron.

No worries at all, keeps me from doing actual work (which is also fucking around on excel ironically). How about instead of Variable columns you have Component columns? Is that doable? It would make things way, way easier. Just a formula like =VLOOKUP($A10,$A$2:$E$6,5,FALSE)*VLOOKUP($A10,$A$2:$E$6,2,FALSE) where the first lookup is finding the number of Product A's and the second is the Component 1 column
  11. Of course the PL are holding this up, they want to protect their broadcast rights. They can keep delaying the findings of the O&D test until KSA show legitimate change and/or bid on the MENA rights, OR PIF get sick and fuck it off entirely. If it's the latter you can guarantee piracy in that region will go unchallenged, if not actively supported by the regime.

Right, I'd rejig the table a bit for a start. Total Sold in Column D. Also, is the naming convention written in stone or can you change it? Not a huge issue either way, but it just makes things neater if you can fuck around with it. All that said it's a pretty straight forward countif formula =I2-($E3*(COUNTIF($C3:$D3,I$1))) I2 is your Stock Total for component 1 E3 is the Total Products Sold for Product A Countif the range C3:D3 (Product A's components) has Component 1(I1) in it. Stock - (products sold x number of component 1) Drag that formula across (keeping the $ signs in place) for the three component columns and down as many rows as you have products. Is that what you're after? Orrrr do you want 1 line for all products?

Can you upload an image that makes this a bit clearer? In my head it sounds like you're asking Excel to know which components go with which product. Is that right?
  14. If only Wolfy or Parky were around to tell you exactly what 'THEY' want this information for really.
  15. If you're not into Star Wars, Marvel, Simpsons, or Pixar, Disney+ has loads of content, some classic old family movies like Mighty Ducks and stuff like that.
  16. If I offer an employee less wage, less responsibility and have a history of lying he'll understandably choose to go elsewhere. That decision would be made easier if another company offered him more wages, greater responsibility and a chance to build something new. If you're criticising Benitez for leaving Newcastle you've really not been paying attention for the past 13 years.
  17. Can't be Yanmar, they're the official tractor partner of Manchester United.
