As others have said, Padstow, St Ives, Truro, Falmouth... There's a place near Portscatho called "The Hidden Hut". Literally a hut on the cliff-top selling unbelievable food. The Beach Hut at Watergate Bay is good as well. Avoid King Harry's Ferry if you can. Rick Stein's place in Padstow is decent, but not worth the cost, or the queue. £45 for two Fish and Chips and a kids meal. I've had equally good fish and better chips in Tynemouth. Loads to see, we stayed there a week and barely scratched the surface.

You gonna bother going for FM21? Think Ashley has finally killed my interest in football.

Seriously though, you're a tedious contrarian, or a mackem wum. Either way. What a cunt.

Went to Cornwall for a week. Some amazing beaches down there. In hindsight we'd have been better off staying near Falmouth, or even Truro as we spent more time on the southern coast. Instead we were near Newquay for the Zoo and aquarium. Drive down wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. 5-6 hours each way. Reckon we'll do it again when the little lad is a bit older, but go with friends and get a bigger place.

The Boys is ace. But Karl Urban's accent is grating.

Been googling Vilca and it looks like he's a defensive-minded midfielder, which is good because we've currently got one defensive midfielder. Seen reports that he'll immediately go out out on loan, which is bad because we've only got one defensive midfielder. -
That's not tapas from Britain, that's tapas from Iceland.

There definitely should be some kind of gift from the league that can afford it, to those that were barely surviving before. -

They were against the wall before COVID, no surprise to see them in trouble now. -
EFL Cup Newcastle United v Blackburn Rovers 730 KO 15/9/20

Aye, I've been a bit more supportive of Joelinton, but when he puts in performances like last night, he doesn't help himself. Part of me understands it, he's low in confidence, playing in a role he's not suited to, again. Most of the blame lies with the manager and the recruitment team, but he shoulders plenty himself. Reminds me of Luque. -

Darlow getting a long contract is odd, he's not going to be 1st choice as long as Dubravka is still here. -
Losing 4-0 at home to Fulham?

Newcastle United: Club Sold To PCP - Official

Probably. Can't see them returning to the table when the PL aren't budging on their stance and KSA are not about to dance to their tune. -

Yep, I just think it'll take a while to get him to accept a bid from another party. Or it'll take a while for the Saudi's to sort their shit out to get their bid accepted. -

It's arrogance on their part, I think. Do they honestly believe the Saudis care enough about buying a PL club to change their approach towards Qatar? I definitely think they would have been better off permitting the deal, then sorting out shit with BEin afterwards. Either by rejigging the way they bundle the deal for the region, or selling the MENA rights to a Saudi broadcaster? -

Don't get me wrong, they've stretched the remit of the test to breaking point, but it's being done to protect their product, so Still think Ashley will be gone before the start of 21/22 season. -

Are they? Reads to me like there is hope, but only if the PIF sort their shit out. Directing the anger at the PL is daft imo, they're protecting their product and who can blame them? It's a shame that it's us that're missing out on spondoolies, but if KSA hadn't pirated, if they'd settled with BEin, if they hadn't banned BEin permanently, if they'd provided a structure that was independent, we'd have new owners. To be honest, if they'd simply waited until after the takeover to have a pop at Qatar I'm not sure the PL would have had much of a say at all. -

What I don't understand is this appears an easy fix. If the PL believe the state would be the ultimate owners, wouldn't it make sense to permit the move, as then the ultimate owners would have a vested interest in protecting the product? Does it matter if it's written down somewhere?
