Oh God, there's 2 by 4s with more range. (I learned the lingo from my Joiner)

I liked the first season of Luke Cage, but it suffers a bit from the same problem that Daredevil S2 had. 50% really good, 50% a bit boring. It's got a brilliant soundtrack though. Avoid Iron Fist. I liked Moon Knight, but it might be a bit too... comic booky for you. There's a whole big CGI monster fight in it at one point. Away from Marvel, you could try Reacher?

I know a teacher with a daft phobia too. He's afraid of escalators so he takes steps to avoid them.

He's going to get robbed so many times.

I think it's a bit of both to be honest. They're stocked with players who are massively overhyped. Like Martinez, Dalot, Onana, Maguire, Lindelof, Mount. Some of them wouldn't look out of place at Fulham, or Wolves. The only thing that digs them out of the shit is that they have inconsistent players who can pluck a wondergoal out of their arse enough times to keep them in the conversation. Fernandes is totally wasted in Ten Hag's side, but he is an extremely creative rattus norvegicus. Changing the manager might get a better performance from some of these players, but I'm not sure they're that good, and they're not puzzle pieces that fit together.

There's still time.

If he does move to Everton, the average age of their fullbacks would be 29, with 3 of their 5 fullbacks being over 30yrs old.

Got to admit I'm curious to hear what Eales said that's got some of our esteemed friends from down the road in such a flap.

7 players for 3 positions, especially when the style we play takes it's toll on those positions. I could see us picking him up now, not because we need him, but because he's available now at the right price.

I was honestly expecting that to be an SNL bit. Had to google it to be sure and, yup, it's a real fucking thing.

Driving up to see the folks with my eldest today. Forgot that it's Leeds festival this weekend. I'll sack off the A1 and take advantage of the Middle Class Heaven that is Tebay Services instead. £7 sausage rolls, extortionate coffee and excellent fudge awaits!

Someone from Sunderland being a massive racist? That doesn't sound right.

I think that's why we've signed a stack of players for the U21s; Sanusi, Pivas, Heffernan etc. There's reports we're after an Argentinian DM called Hezze from Olympiakos. I know nowt about him, but he's foreign sounding and not from Sheffield so I assume he's mint!

Sorry to hear that mate. Like everyone has said, if you need to vent, here's a good place to do it.

Who the fuck keeps a snake in a cage? Surely you want a solid box? You know nothing!

Who hopes Palace get relegated and Guehi leaves on a free?
The Fish replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
He wins a small number of Aerial Duels, compared to the rest of the players analysed. But, as ever it only shows some of the picture. Schar isn't usually the CB that marks the most dangerous header of the ball at set pieces, most of the goals scored against us aren't headers (because we stop the cross at source, or they're low crosses). -

And that's fine, but if that specific player is proving too difficult to sign, it makes sense to step away from the pursuit rather than eating further into our PSR wriggle room, and thus potentially losing out on another specific target further down the line. Guehi was targeted because they think he's the right player now, but if the price isn't right (which I don't think it is) we should have alternatives. I would be surprised if we weren't negotiating for several players, for various positions, Nothing to stop us signing a RW, a CB and some youth player on the same day, barring the difficulty of the selling team. Because, say we have £120m to commit towards transfers, and we value our targets around £65m for CB , £40m for RW, then £15m for a promising kid. Suddenly CB costs £70m, that means we either don't sign the RW target, or don't sign the kid.

Well, we have our first choice 'keeper back and fit, and hopefully we won't be absolutely decimated in the centre of the park. As Gloomy says we should be playing football further up the pitch, which will limit the number of chances the opponents have. We were brilliant defensively before Botman, no reason we cannot hit those heights again, with better players to boot. A better RW will mean we can force their fullbacks and potentially their wingers to neglect their attacking responsibilities to focus more on defending. Also, more goals.
