I don't get it, ASM is widely praised for his attacking talent, and justifiably criticised for his defensive limitations. Is Clarko upset that we're not giving him enough credit for his attacking, and too much criticism for his defending? If that's the case then I've some awful news for him, people's opinions can differ and you're not going to get homogeny.

Couple of lads were holding another against the wall and I stepped in to make sure he was all right, then dropped into a superhero 3 point landing stance. Personally, it's hard for me to imagine what a modern derby day would be like. They're a League 1 club and we're now, theoretically, the richest club on the planet. It'd be like saying Spurs and Charlton is a derby. It'd be next season at the absolute earliest, but I don't think that's very likely. Think it's more likely that it'll be 4-5 years. By that time, we could genuinely be plying our trade in the upper reaches of the Premier League, with superstar players and near-limitless ambition. I'd like them to come along and see Haaland stick 5 past them, but, genuinely I can't imagine what it'd be like.

Well, we've cleared up the silliness that 'outlasting' is proof of the club not being run down. re: outperforming you've relied on goal and assists as the only metrics applicable, but have disregarded other midfielders who outperformed him because their positions and roles are different. But neither of your rebuttals answer the the OP's point. Those two ageing players of diminishing returns are evidence of the club being run-down. All other clubs would have sold both of them and replaced them with younger, better players. So, take your your verbosity, misdirected condescension, and your honking fucking attitude and stick up right up your shitpipe.
