Newcastle United: Club Sold To PCP - Official
The Fish replied to The Mighty Hog's topic in Newcastle Forum
It can only be greed or pettiness/spite, it's not like he can be doing anything for them. Him joining us doesn't impact their own DoF recruitment. He can still stay abreast of the latest ways of working, the latest trends and ideas in his field. He can still receive reports on players, scouts, coaches, without breaching his gardening leave as long as he doesn't overtly act on them to Newcastle's benefit. -
Aye we're all here thinking he's mint, but that mask is hooked up to a tin of Dulux Once.

Canny vinegary, isn't it? I'd guess it'd go well with the cheesy carbonara sauce?

I've made many mistakes in my life, done many embarrassing things, said some incredibly stupid shit. However, nothing I've done is half as bad as the shite this kid puts out as 'content'. His channel has, among other gems, a review of Greggs Salt and Vinegar crisps, Adam singing RagnBone man song, 'interviews' with other kids from his high school, and a couple of 'hilarious pranks' on his mam. -
Did Shearer ever win the European Golden Shoe? Well, did he? Did Shearer ever score the winner for Sunderland in the derby?

Yeah, compare this kid with the lads from True Faith. I remember them doing a couple of fan cams years ago and you could see they've got some charisma, and at least a little bit of polish about themselves. I can't remember if Emil Franchi did fan cams before his radio career or not, but the difference between the two is huge. If the True Faith lot are amateur, this Pearson chancer is primordial. -

His post-match vlog is up. He is not happy lads, he is NOT happy. He works his arse off for this club... well he doesn't work for the club, but his vlogs promote the U23s to a wider audience. He's expecting a call from the club. On what fucking planet does this kid live? -
These are excellent points. But you're forgetting one important thing.

There were no good goalies. Zero. Schmeichel, Seaman, Martyn, Flowers, Big Neville Southall, de Goey, off the top of my head.

Saw this in a thread about the article in the Athletic where they've adjusted the transfer fees paid for some big name players into todays market. So, Shearer's £15m would be £220m in todays market. They're also insisting Shearer wasn't as good as Henry (that's not what the article is about), that Phillips would be worth £150m (that's not what the article is about).

I think you're overestimating the efficacy of Putin's poisoners and underestimating the skill of medical professionals.

Newcastle v Leicester tickets 17 April 2022
The Fish replied to Petedajag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Leicester is sold out. Try twitter for spares? -
Maybe he caught a glimpse of himself laughing at the joke and didn't like what he saw reflected off her BIG BALD BONCE? Whassup, come at me Fresh Prince! We can get Wickety Wickety Wild Wild West up in here.

Good post. Remember where you heard it first.

True, but then that umpteen million will be watching you make a total tit of yourself if you get up on stage and have a hissy fit. Like I said, nobody is coming out of this well (Ryan Gosling aside). But Smith slapping a comic, saying God and Love made him do it, then getting applause and comforted is ridiculous. If Smith did that at the Stand, he's getting kicked out, and perhaps charged. What I think is important though, is that we should wait until we hear what side of the argument Piers Morgan settles on. Once that's decided we can be assured that the other side is the right one.

It's a risk upstairs in a pub, or maybe a Jongleurs, but the Oscars? The most corporate of corporate gigs, booze isn't exactly flowing as it is at Nottingham's Glee club. Chris Rock made a weak joke about Jada Pinket-Smith being bald, not that she's sleeping around (which she is, allegedly). The risk was infinitesimally small, and the reaction was way over the top. Gervais has said way worse and been heralded as some kind of brave genius.
-
Not a funny joke, but anyone rushing the stage to slap the comedian just because your wife's feelings got hurt, is moronic. Nobody is the victim here, and everyone's an arsehole.

Weren't they also sponsored by Visit Rwanda or something like that? I forget the details, but I'd be curious to see if Exile1968 (I'm assuming the numbers are his IQ then his age?) was as strident in his opposition to sportswashing then? And that's not whataboutery, I'm not saying sportswashing is ok because it was accepted before, but it's rank hypocrisy to crusade against sportswashing when it's purely directed at your erstwhile rivals. In having a look on there, I found the page on one of their many NUFC threads where the takeover is rumoured then confirmed within a couple of days. There's some maneuvering in those pages that would impress Senna.
-
His entire online personality appears to be "I hate Newcastle United". It'd be fair to say that the overwhelming majority of his posts on RTG are restricted to their "NUFC Sportswashing" threads (all of which get so big they're closed and a new one is created immediately).
