  1. Aye, doesn't make a lot of sense to spend a fortune on an injury plagued striker to bolster our forward line that's often left short because of an injury plagued striker.

'This recipe asks for salt, but we're out. Will dandruff do instead?'
  3. Kuqi, Choudhury, Khizanishvilli, Doumbia and Wayne Quinn
  4. Went to find a line up selector thingy and first hit was "Chosen 11". Their suggested default for Newcastle United is; Dunno what's funnier, how out of date it is with Anita, Gouffran and Diame in there. Or how 7 of those out of date players are still at the fucking club? Anyway, I'd go
  5. I think we do need a cull, mind you. Sometimes, when there's someone in the group that doesn't quite 'get it', he needs to be moved on.
  6. Not sure, but Paddy Power will give you odds on it.
  7. Honestly, I don't disagree with much of what you say. But a large number of podcasts are just three white middle aged nerds who are opinionated arseholes and use it as an means to legitimise their hobbies to their partners. Which is much better than what you said.
  8. I'd like Eriksen, Grillitsch and Henderson. 3 big upgrades for no fees. Buy a goal threat for the right wing like (but not necessarily Ismaila Sarr) Buy a 1-in-3 or better striker, whose goals come from movement and technique, rather than size and strength. Buy a left back as good as, or better than Targett I think we can do all of that for less than the reported £60-80m + £whateverwemakeinsales
  9. What a brilliant way to endear himself to the people of Liverpool at the end, there.
  10. He says, on a messageboard filled with other cunts opinions about football...
  11. It was right up your snarky arsehole!
  12. In a similar spirit; I don't care if he stays or goes. He's our most creative, most unpredictable, biggest threat, by a mile. He's our least reliable, most frustrating, biggest liability, by a mile. There are better players out there in his position who we could get with the kind of funds his sale + our wealth allow. His position is not the priority for this upcoming window and better players in other positions would have a greater impact on our fortunes next season.
  13. Facundo Ferreyra The prosecution rests.
  14. Was making small talk with the builder (yes I was ramping up my Geordie accent to sound like a more approachable and honest, hardworking, bloody bloke, why do you ask?). He says his next job is basically sorting out a house making repairs and stuff. The owner had rented this £700k house out to a mid twenties Vietnamese lass who was dead friendly, when she moved in she popped around the neighbours with cakes and shit to introduce herself. Fast forward a few months and the police are raiding the house after the neighbour tipped them off that it had been turned into a marijuana farm Gone was the nice young lady, instead two indentured servants (one a 15yr old kid) were looking after a three storey semi-detached kush farm. Half arsed modifications had been made like knocking through into the chimney to use as a vent (even thought he thing was capped), wiring and lighting rigs taped or clipped precariously to the now exposed beams. The question I've got is; why in the fuck would you choose to have a marijuana farm in a quiet, fairly well to do area? With loads of nosey neighbours, when the Cheshire countryside is filled with houses in the middle of nowhere.
  15. To be fair it could be an accumulation of shit shots, but he's still doing better in that regard than literally everyone else in the team. All xG is showing is that he's having the most opportunities to score in the side (and he's outperforming that).
  16. I'm not fobbing it off man. You claimed Schar has a higher xG than ASM. He doesn't. He also doesn't have a higher xA, or more goals or more assists. So I dunno wtf you're talking about.
  17. That's part of the Beeb thing though, isn't it. They have to disclose, just like MPs. Walk into any office and ask someone what they earn, see how that goes.
  18. I dunno, it's the trade off for a team that was where we were. You can either have a Fancy-Dan, or a grafter, if you find someone with both you won't have him for long. I just enjoy them while they're here and don't mind if they're not also doing the job of the midfield and defenders, just like I don't mind if Dummett isn't weaving his way through tackles to set up a shot.
  19. It's private. I wouldn't want people knowing what I earn because they might charge me more. In an environment like a professional football team it could cause wewwwww ructions.
